Familiar strangers
Chapter 5
I was dumb struck i removed the the phone from my ear and looked at it, I just got a call from a total stranger asking me to come see him while I was trying to process this my phone beeped, I had just received a multi media message from the same number, it was a short video of a woman In a dark room her head was covered with a black sack she was tied up the sack was removed slowly and I realized it was my mum tears fell from her eyes as she tried to say something just then the video ended. My hands started trembling, my stomach rumbled I was sweating despite the A/C I tried calling the number but my call wouldn't go through.. I was pacing up and down in my office I heard another beep and this time it was a message from him..."make sure you come to mac dob by 4pm if you still want your mother alive" tears poured down my eyes as I read the message, just then I thought of the police immediately I dialled the emergency number I received another message from the same number "the moment you inform the police about this I'll make sure you meet your mum's lifeless body". I was dumb struck. I immediately hang up the call walked to my seat and sat looking into space
