They had left me in this room and so I looked around the room. No cameras. I couldn't see anything else in the room not even windows. That is completely weird. I kept my eyes around and just stood up from the bed. Walking around the room. I expected someone to waltz in and just force me down on the bed. My legs felt wobbly and weak. I didn't understand it. Is something in this room making me feel heavy?
I looked at the roof and noticed different engravings. They were glowing slowly. So they use this magical engravings to force me to stay down or something. I was tied up in that room before but I think that poor creature is still in there suffering. I touched the wall and it burned me. I hissed pulling my hand away. I looked around and nobody still. Did they curse the door also? Like are they carrying something to be able to walk around this place full of magical engravings. I went to the door and just touched the doorknob and I could feel it electrifying my arm. I held on as hard as I could but my arm.
I couldn't hold for much longer and I just fell back clutching my arm. I couldn't even move it. I hissed as I tried moving my fingers. My breathing felt so heavy. I hear steps coming this way and I stood up and rushed to the bed. I did my best not to make any sound as I didn't want anybody knowing I got out of the bed.
I covered myself and I took gentle breaths as my whole arm wasn't feeling like itself anymore. The doors open and the old man walked in. A tray of food in hands. I felt completely confused. They hadn't fend me in such a long time. Maybe to control me or something. Keeping me weak. The magic in this room is also powerful so even if I feel completely weak I won't be able to escape at all. I felt completely weak either way. The smell of food made my stomach growl literally. He extends the tray to me and I just smacked it away. I won't be lured with food. I don't know if it's poisoned or laced. Drugged even.
"Don't you dare!" I tell him annoyed
He looks mad now and grabs me by the throat "I bring you food and this is how you treat it!"
I could barely look at him but I said through hard breaths "I-I... I don't... I-If it's dr-dru-drugged..."
He pushes me back and spoke "I am not that fucking low..."
"But your low enough to grab me by my throat!" I snapped at him as I touched my throat
He groans out and spoke a bit angrily "I will bring you food... You haven't eaten in a while we don't want you to die... I'll even taste it for you just for you to eat it"
I just stared at him through glares. He groans out as he walks out of the room. So they do have something to protect them from whatever is hurting me. I don't have anything on me. So my phone and vape must be somewhere. I sighed out and just sit down on the bed. Crossing my legs. I looked at the food on the floor. He just left it there. That man is annoying. I felt the familiar presence of Kassandra and I looked to the side. She was looking down as she clutched her arm. It was still black like a shadow. It made me worry.
I wanted to touch her but my hand went right through her arm. I looked at my hand and just hugged it. I wish to touch this child. She needs a hug so badly. She needs someone to just hold her tight and tell her she is alright. That she will be loved. But I can't touch her. I can't hold her. I can't embrace her small body into my own. I clenched my jaw and just felt like crying. But I needed to be strong for this girl. She wants to be reborn. Reborn with her mom. Reborn into a new body. A new life.
I will help her. I want her to have an actual life and fall in love. So I will keep reading her book. Even if it knocks me out and I get trapped for a bit. Time in that book passes by slowly. But outside the book is like a normal nap. Like a few seconds. Or even asleep. So a few hours. But I will help this child because deep in my heart I want to be able to help with as much as I can for my future children. I want to have children but after this accident. The whole punctured part. Once I reunite with Luke I will need to get checked by a doctor. I want to make sure I have children. At least two children.
I hear a gentle creek and I looked forward. I noticed a leg pass by. I couldn't see who it was but the door is opened. Wide open. Is this my chance to leave? I slowly stand up and just walked to the door. I poke my head and just looked side to side. I saw nobody. I hear a male barking orders about something called a wolfsbane. I noticed the demon in the end of the hallway. He saw me and I saw his hand move. Is he signaling me to leave?
"Go... He is helping you... He told me to lead you the way to get your stuff and to show you the exit" I hear Kassandra behind me
I looked at her but she still wasn't staring at me so I say "I will still help you... You deserve a lot"
She looks at me with big eyes as tears glide down her face "Thank you..."
She passed through the wall and I saw her stand on the left side. I could see her gentle smile. Warm and gentle. I could see how her soul brightened up a bit and I saw how her arm turned back to normal. I followed her. She led me to a room and I saw these small lockers. A few of them were opened but my phone was on the table charged but with the screen on and it was unlocked. I clenched my jaw. Sneaky bastards. They must have gotten Luke's number. She stands in front of that table and I rushed in. I unplugged my phone and I looked at the screen. No signal. Fuck. I turned the phone off and placed it inside my shirt. My bra may be a bit broken but it's still enough to hold the breasts and phone.
I looked at Kassandra as she was by the door again. I looked at the table and noticed my vape. It was all broken. I sighed out. Great. I left it there and just walked to the door. I looked both sides and just followed Kassandra. Whenever she stopped I made sure to hide and just wait for her to move again.
"All hunters are to report to the training grounds for new instructions..." I hear a speaker echo around these halls
"Hide..." I hear Kassandra say
I quickly opened a door and I went in. It was really dark in here. I touched the wall as I hear steps running past the door. I found a switch and I flicked it. The light turned on and I felt my breath get stuck in my throat. I felt like crying. I saw cages and cages. Dirty. The smell of rotten flesh and shit hitting my nose. I walked forward and noticed some empty cages but others had children shivering in fear. They stared at me and huddled up in a corner. Tears streaming down my eyes as I noticed different beings.
"Come... Coast is clear" I hear Kassandra tell me from a distance
"We can't leave them here..." I tell her as I looked at the children
"But we don't have time!" Kassandra panicked
I looked at her with pleading eyes and I say "Please... If it was you in there I would still save you"
She looks around and just sighs out "Fine... But once we are outside just keep running forward alright"
She appears by my side and she raises her hands. The locks were moving slightly and the things around the children's necks were also glowing. I hear more steps at a distance. Nobody has noticed us in here. The things around their neck fell to the floor and the children looked shocked. Then the door to the cages burst open. I smiled widely. The children slowly walking to the entrance of the gate. The smiles and tears cascading from their faces made my heart glow. Kassandra looked weak but she just smiled also. I hope I didn't strain her with my decision. I placed my finger in my lips and the children went silent. Looking at me in fear.
One pair of foot step can be heard passing through the door. Kassandra vanished. I think she went to check it out. I looked at the children as they all looked at me with big eyes. I just smiled warmly at them and just signaled them to follow me. We slowly walked to the door. Kassandra popped up at the door and gave me a thumbs up. I nod and just turn to the children with a big smile.
"Come children... Let's escape!" I say a bit loudly
I open the door and just in case I looked both side before following Kassandra. I looked at the children and I extend my hand. I nod and one child holds my hand and so a chain commenced. We are all holding hands. Nobody is left behind. I felt something in my shoulder and noticed a bird. I felt confused. But it looked beautiful. A golden yellow color with beautiful blue eyes. I smiled at it and I just led the way. Leading the children while following Kassandra.
Kassandra is fast this time. So many twist and turns. I kept looking back making sure all the children were with me. It was a total of eleven children. It was so weird but maybe this was all of them. I think they are able to go farther than me. I rejected food and water when I had the chance. Though I feel like the dude would have drugged me either way. I looked around and noticed a keep out sign and the door barely open. I looked at Kassandra as she had opened a large door and I could feel the gentle wind and fresh nature scent.
I looked at the children but I heard someone yell. I rushed the children into the room and closed the door slowly. Kassandra pops up behind me. Shushing the crying children and they were listening to her. It reminded me how children's minds are more open to the world of the dead. So they can naturally see Kassandra. I looked back to the children and noticed something glow behind them. I felt confused and so I looked up. Glancing at the light object. It's a screen. A television.
I walked pass the children and looked at the screen. It was cameras. Of these people training. There is a red light. Everything I was seeing is actually live. Everyone was training and or watching two fight or spar. Whatever it is their doing. I noticed the computer to the side and I saw a lot of information. Tactics. Blueprints. Plans. Connections to other hunter camps. Luke and the rest of the Alpha's can really use this.
"Kassandra... Do you think you have enough power to turn this tiny charger included?" I asked lowly
"No... Am sorry..." she says sadly
"It's ok little one... But let's ruin their plans... It seems all their information is in this laptop and it doesn't seem connected to anything that can back all this information up..." I say and so I unplugged it from the wall
"Wait your going to take it?" she asked in panic
"Yes... Luke will needs this... The Alpha King as well" I answered gently
I wrapped the charger around the laptop and placed it under my shirt. I looked around the room as I saw cabinets. A book stuck out to me and I grabbed it. It looks familiar. It's really old though. Kassandra vanished and then reappeared. Giving thumbs up. I smiled gently. Alright let's go. Freedom. I should burn this place. It can help our escape. Distract them from getting to us. I feel like they may have sent this information around. But just incase I better take it with me. Luke will need it. I nod. I looked at Kassandra and I opened the cabinets. Finding papers. Documents on the children. Experiments they had done to them.
Detailed information about their anatomy. Children that had died as well. They were experimenting on children. I found files on adults also and the reason they didn't catch adult beings anymore. The beings died off too quickly from the experiments and not loyal. I almost cried. So much torture. I placed the papers away but I felt a presence in the room. I looked towards the door and noticed the demon. He looked annoyed.
"You should have ran when you had the chance! They are almost done with training!" he snaps at me
"I will not leave this children or information behind!" I snapped at him
I may be weak but I will still help "Fuck all them... I worry about you!"
I groaned out "No... This are children... Even so... If you were also in that cage I would have released you! Everyone deserves freedom!"
He looked shocked but just groaned out "Fuck... Fine! I will help one more time... What do you want?"
I looked at the file cabinets and all the information and I say quickly "I want to teleport all this information; papers; laptop and videos about the hunters association to Luke's bunker!"
He looks at me in shock "Why?"
"Freedom... Everything can be replaced with blank... With fakes... I want everyone to be free... Live and grow up... Love... Have arguments... Be selfish... Live a normal life..." I tell him with a gentle smile
He looks at me with wide eyes "You remind me of her so badly..."
He sighs out and I say "Well... You deserve freedom also... So maybe there is something here to release you so you can live and love again"
"Thank you..." he says with a gentle smile
He flicks his fingers and the laptop vanished from my shirt and I heard the cabinets shake a little. Once they stopped I opened it and noticed white papers. Blanks. I checked another one and it was blank also. It made me smile. Those papers had pictures of those people so I want them to be remembered. Even if we can't find their bodies but if they had family then at least their family will now what happened to them.
"Now I am curious... Why blanks?" he asked as he looks at the empty papers
"Well... Starting a fire... So they never notice their information stolen or leaked" I tell him gently as I shrugged
He smirked a little and says "Smart girl..."
"Promise me you will not tell..." I tell him
"I promise..." he says as he makes an x on his chest
"Why did you do that?" I asked him confused
"This promise is secured and safe until you tell me to break our promise" he says with a light bow
Demon laws are so weird but I like that one in a way. A lighter appears in his hands and he throws it at me. A smile gently and I grabbed a piece of blank. He smiles and I think he wanted to watch me start the fire. The children were shaking a little bit but I smiled at them gently. I looked at him and I saw something glow in his neck and he covers it quickly. He looks sad but he disappears. Leaving only smoke. He must have been summoned to the person he is bound to. I turned the lighter on and placed the paper above the fire.
The page catching fire and I placed it back in the cabinet with the rest of the papers. Making the rest catch on fire. I let the children take out all the blanks and pile them up in the center. I nod at them and Kassandra had led them to the door. I placed the lighter close to the papers. Catching on fire quickly. I quickly grabbed one before it burned it completely and placed it on top of the plastic table. Plastic makes the fire keep going. I grabbed a hand full of blank files and placed them on top of the plastic.
I hear the cable doing some weird static and I just knew it was getting there. I ran pass the fire the lighter still in my hand. I saw how the flames had gotten stronger and were spreading like crazy. The papers inside the cabinets also catching on fire. I grabbed with one hand a bunch of blank papers and opened the other door. It had Chemicals inside. Cleaning products. I can see a few with the sign of flammable. I turned the papers on fire and threw in that room.
Good. This place needs to burn. Some of the clothes caught on fire quickly and the mop as well. Kassandra led the children to the door and I ran behind them. The room was getting a lot of smoke and it will be dangerous if we stay in here. The fire growing rapidly. Good idea but bad in the end. The moment Kassandra opened the door flames had gotten stronger and I got burned. I hissed but I didn't care. I need to make sure the children get out.
Once out of the room we all started running. I held the lighter lightly making sure it had my thumb print. I don't want them thinking the demon helped me. We made it outside. The children started running forward and I cheered them on. They were faster than me but Kassandra led their way. We had to run up a hill as this place was very hidden in what looks like caves. Once I made it to high ground I can see the smoke. Alarms blaring like crazy. I dropped the lighter and just kept running. I saw some of the children turn into wolves and started running faster. One went invisible. Three of the children had wings. Beautiful angel like wings.
They started flying. I cheered them on to keep going. I was slowly being left behind. Four children was in my line of sight now. One girl was slowly floating and the forest was responding to her. I can hear the melodic sounds of birds. The girls arms turned into wings and her feet into bird feet. Harpies'? She started flying following the sounds of birds. The trees camouflaging wherever she went. Until I couldn't see her anymore. Three remaining. They had blood in their backs but they became foxes. Two tails though. Are they Kitsune's? I know that the older they get the more tails they receive until they reach all nine tails. I don't remember correctly.
They ran faster and faster. I could barely see them now. I stepped on twigs and rocks. My feet aching like crazy. I looked back and the blaring sound of an alarm is slowly fading. I can see such large smoke. I caught my ankle with something. Falling face forward. I hit my face with the hard floor and my stomach with a rock. Fuck.
I should keep looking forward.
