While Eranus was busy carrying out its reformatory programmes on Earth, the powerful politicians were busy trying to scuttle the progress made so far; the failure of the first uprising had made them to ramp up their game plan this time around. At the height of it was Mr. Bullough, he had gathered his men again in order to hatch another attack on the Zygotes. He promised that they would do the needful and get the result as soon as possible.
The Wuhan laboratory was established in 1973, it was meant to be a laboratory to help the Universities develop their manpower in human DNA research and profiling. It was originally funded by the Central Chinese government; however, the privatization policy in China had made the project a profitable venture as it is able to obtain contracts from outside of China. The problem of getting a willing or compromised Zygote to undertake the research was the issue at hand. Dr. Wui held a closed-door meeting with his team to discuss the issue. There are many Zygotes in China, they figure out that luring a lady Zygote might do the trick; someone was of the opinion that outright capture will be okay; the reason being that lady Zygotes in China were restricted to the Central office as secretary, they rarely go out. The results of the tests still did not show a clue as to the constituent of Zygotes body chemistry; they were agitated.
The third day had gone by, Mr. Chen Yuan had called Dr. Xiang Wui to know the outcome of the experiment. However, at the laboratory, certain changes were observed as happening to Zygote Feng; the body was getting swollen and bigger by the day, it was now difficult returning him back to where he was taken from. Fear and anxiety had griped the entire opposition, the laboratory and Mr. Bullough as they were all informed of developments at the laboratory. Close monitoring observation were being carried out. They were not worried about getting Zygote Feng back to his office, it was now a case of what becomes of the new development that is taking place in his body. Meanwhile at the Central Zygote headquarter, Zygote Feng had been declared missing; his pictures had been circulated around. The laboratory authority heard of the announcement on the radio; this called for a major worry to the integrity of the laboratory as everyone feared the Zygote leaders.
The fifth day of the DNA profiling exercise, the body of Zygote Feng still keeps growing bigger; the scientists had imagined the very worst scenario; they could not enter the laboratory again. Everyone had deserted the laboratory because of fear of being caught. Various body parts were being formed, longer tails, gigantic legs, claws, scaly skin, beak, huge body frame, thirty-two to thirty-six wingspan, long stretchy necks and height of about 30 feet. The entire formation was a combination of pterosaur and a dinosaur, with slight features of Zygote; the flying dinosaur-the Zygosaurs. The worst has come over the laboratory and the opposition.
The sixth day of the experiment, an animal like object had formed at Wuhan Central Laboratory, it could be described as Zygosaur as it has the resemblance of a mixture of Zygote and a dinosaur. It's a scary creature. The news media had published the story, but no one knows the real issue behind the formation of this enormous image; it has broken the roof of the laboratory and come into the street of Wuhan. Policemen were around the scene trying to control the crowd who came to witness this event. The Zygosaur was initially quiet as it was wondering what the whole crowd was all about. The central authority was confused as no one could answer enquiries into what led to the formation of the animal.
On the seventh day, the animal got agitated perhaps due to hunger as it pulls down a building close to the laboratory- it moved for the first time-everyone was scared. There were firefighting equipments around, the paramilitary, the navy, army and emergency rescue workers; all these arrangements were made because no one knows exactly what the Zygosaur could do. The men of Wuhan laboratory had no clue of what they had invented or what their experiment had turned into. The situation got worse because they all had run away for fear of severe punishment from the Zygotes high command. It moves slowly like several elephants joined together. ''Move back, move back'' was the shout of the officer in charge of emergency. Suddenly, it spits fire from its mouth, the firefighting equipments were destroyed; further fear gripped the whole nation and the world as the event was viewed live from Wuhan, China.
At the underground office of the World Freedom Party, there were frantic effort at getting to know what went wrong because they knew that the Zygosaur incident was reported to have happened at Wuhan laboratory. Mr. Bullough had called Mr. Chen Yuan; he could not be reached on phone. All effort at getting anyone to explain about the mission was not possible as no one was available to give any response. The Zygosaur was still growing, with eyes getting bigger. Everyone was speechless, the Zygotes command called for an emergency meeting to figure out what happened in China. The reports reaching the command were not coordinated as no one knows exactly what happened. The command wanted to know if any Zygote was reported missing. General Bimas remembered that Zygotes are not to be experimented on; it's only an experiment on a Zygote that can produce Zygosaur. He was told by the subcommander for China that a zygote was reported missing in the past two weeks. He said angrily ''Look for him, he must be found immediately; if my guess is right, Earth is in fundamental trouble. I'm afraid of what the consequences of this will be if found to be true'' he requested the Surgeon General of Eranus to shed light on the possible consequences if the missing Zygote was experimented upon. The Surgeon General is referred to as Commander Spew. 'It is a very dangerous situation if a zygote was experimented upon. The body composition of the Zygote consists of cells that could spread dangerous viral airborne infections such as, influenza, chickenpox, diphtheria, mumps, whooping cough, measles, common cold and tuberculosis. Common symptoms include headache, runny nose, fever, sore throat, sneezing. The mortality level for these infections is very high; it could lead to high infantile and aged mortalities. The abled body mortalities are high as well, with more mortality occurring among individuals with terminal ailments. The mortality could be in millions in few seconds. In few days after the experiment, the experimented zygote will emit a poisonous substance that will make the infections viral in nanosecond. There was ominous silence in the conference room.

General Bimas made request to the Central Health Unit of Eranus to activate the immune system of Zygotes on Earth in order to prevent the negative effect of the imminent viral infections. The Central Health Unit made the adjustment immediately by scanning the DNA of all the Zygotes on Earth, the activated immune system was transmitted to all the Zygotes immediately; this is a method of dealing with mass inoculation of Zygotes in the event of emergency.
It was time for Earth to suffer for its misdeeds. The Zygosaur was ready to sneeze as was said by the Surgeon general, Zygote Spew. At about 7 am, the Zygosaur sneezed, it was large amount of fluid; it was too late for any emergency to be carried out for humans on Earth. The shortness of time did not allow the Zygotes to disseminate adequate information on what was about happening. Within the next two hours, half of a million humans had died in Wuhan, the hospitals, clinics, health centers were filled with sick patients. The elderly were dying, the infants were getting suffocated, persons with terminal ailments were dying. There was widespread anxiety as everyone was wondering what happened. The viral infection had spread to Africa, Asia, Latin America< Europe, Australia, Australasia, everywhere in the world had gotten viral infection because of the Zygote that was experimented upon.
News reaching the Zygote Command was that about twelve million had died within two hours all over the world; it seems the whole world could be wiped away within a short period of time. There was panic all over the world, as no one could really tell the correlation between the presence of the Zygosaur in Wuhan and the viral infection rampaging Earth. The Supreme Command of Zygote on Earth had to address a news conference. For the common man on the street, the call to be Zygoted in order to be free from the viral infection caused by experimenting on the Zygote was unthinkable; however, the fear of dying has made some persons to give the option a thought.
The Zygosaur had gotten to the point of full maturity. It spews further emissions from its mouth and nostrils; further infections to the Earth. Death toll in five hours had risen to five million casualties. The sick and affected are in multiple of millions. It appears Earth was doomed for extinction. The scientists on Earth are clueless; however, the scientists in Eranus were busy trying to see how best the menace of the Zygosaur can be curtailed. The entire Wuhan region had been evacuated; the entire streets were deserted. It's only the animal that has the entire town to itself; the fear was that, should it decide to move to other regions, what happens?
The Zygosaur moved and was going from one street to the other. It was perhaps looking for food, water, who knows? As it moves, it was pulling down buildings, edifices, electric poles, telephone masts and any object that stands in its way. The whole world was watching via remote devices that could be operated without being in the city of Wuhan. Zygosaur got to the Wuhan nuclear plant; there was a sigh of relief as the Zygotes High Command had dismantled all nuclear war heads. It would have been a catastrophe. It got to a sea food market at Wuhan; it looks happy as it broke the cold rooms and devoured fresh fish, shrimps, lobsters, periwinkles and crabs; it also drank water. The whole world stood in awe! Since no one could go near the Zygosaur because of the infections at Wuhan, everyone hoped someone will do something to get rid of the Zygosaur.
Zygosaur Wuhan as dubbed by the press was vitalized after eating the raw fish; the snag was that it consumes about a ton of sea food a day in order to be satisfied. It has finished the sea foods at the Wuhan Sea food market. It was wandering aimlessly destroying everything in sight. It has moved sixty kilometers away from Wuhan to Huanggang, an easternmost Hubei Province city situated to the north of Yangtze River. The importance of Yangtze River stems from the fact that it is an important waterway and it has spiritual connotation to the people of the region; a sacred river of immense importance to the huge population in the area.
Zygosaur Wuhan dipped its feet into the river to swim and refresh. It swam for some time feeling great; the sun was blazing hot and the temperature was wonderful. The mystery of Yangtze River became apparent when at about 12 noon, there was a rainbow in the sky; suddenly the river turned into heavy tide, not witnessed in the history of Yangtze River. There was partial darkness all over Huanggang. The world was wondering what magic they were seeing on Yangtze River. When the darkness disappeared, there were many Zygosaurs on the river. The tradition of the river was that no unclean thing must enter it. In ancient times, the ships that were sunk in the river belonged to corrupt rich men who had stolen from the poor; the river detest thieves, vagabonds, robbers, pirates and all men with known viles. At a count, about one hundred Zygosaur had been replicated by the sacred Yangtze River. More trouble for Earth which was still battling with the epidemic caused by just one Zygosaur. The entire five million people in Huanggang were listening to radio, television and internet coverage of the incident. The city's population had been swelled by the refugees that fled Wuhan. The new Zygosaurs are expected to release their nasal fluid in three days' time; everyone was anxious as the medical facilities are already overwhelmed. General Bimas was sore afraid of the outcome of the nasal release from the new set of Zygosaurs. Attention has shifted from arresting Mr. Bullough and his henchmen to rescuing Earth from the menace of the Zygosaurs.
It was the third day and the new set were expected to release their nasal fluid; everyone was apprehensive. At 12 noon, the Zygosaurs released their nasal fluid. The effect was felt all over the world immediately; the infections were in fold; the whole Earth was in danger of extinction. Causalities had risen to more than fifty million all over the world. Some cities in Europe with low population had been wiped out completely. The Zygosaurs were busy hunting for sea foods in the Yangtze River, it was intense as they all have the same capability to consume huge quantity of sea foods. The sea foods in the river were getting out of supply; it was time to move elsewhere.
The Zygotes High Command sensed that the Zygosaurs may likely migrate to other parts of the world in search of sea foods. The effect of this is that the whole world may end up being filled with Zygosaurs; this may make the existence of human beings on Earth go extinct. It was the seventh day of the new set of Zygosaurs, Yangtze River could not supply fresh sea foods again, the Zygosaurs were seen moving out of the river in order to look for sea foods elsewhere. Time was running out on the Zygotes central command, there were protests everywhere around the world, it appears all the gains made by restructuring the Earth was to be wiped out by the incidence of the Zygosaurs.
The invading Zygosaurs in search of fresh sea foods had invaded the neighbouring China towns and cities, devouring fresh sea foods on its way, invading seas, rivers, oceans, destroying buildings on its way. The attendant health issues are still lingering. Death toll as reported by the Zygote command had risen to one hundred million. Earth was in danger of extinction. As if all the sea foods in China had been consumed, the Zygosaurs were headed towards Mongolia to the north; Russia and North Korea to the northeast; the Yellow Sea and the East China Sea to the east; the South China Sea to the southeast; Vietnam, Laos, Myanmar (Burma), India, Bhutan, and Nepal to the south; Pakistan to the southwest; and Afghanistan. All these countries that are sharing border with China had suddenly become apprehensive of the invasion of the Zygosaurs.
The meeting called by General Bimas had focused on what immediate steps can be taken to ensure that there is reprieve, Zygote Kula who just resumed from Eranus was of the opinion that people be made compulsorily Zygotes, as the appeal made by General Bimas that people should the choose the option of self-Zygote in order to counter the effect of the flu was not responded to; people prefer to die rather than being Zygotes. The idea was welcome; it was going to be forced conscription into Zygotes.
The announcement was made on radio that people will be forced to become Zygotes; this did not go down well with the general population. There were protests, riots and civil unrests. The Zygotes Command carried out their intention as people were captured on the streets and mated into Zygotes. The exercise continued as the diseases rampaging the entire world continued unabated. The exercise had produced additional two million Earth Zygotes; the assurance was that once one is mated into a Zygote, there is immunity against the viral infections caused by the emergence of the Zygosaurs.
