Chapter 44 - Princess's dream dress

"Alright," Emma agreed.

Richard instructed the maid to bring a cup of tea for Emma, ensuring she was comfortable while waiting.

After about 10 minutes, Yuna brought in the second dress. Yuna was thrilled to see the happiness in Emma's eyes as she received the dress, a blood-red gown adorned with exquisite gold embroidery along the neckline. The sleeves, made of Georgette, were beautifully decorated with shimmering crystals, and the dress itself seemed to be sewn from thin gold wires.

Emma was awestruck by the dress's beauty and wondered about its cost. Yuna, standing behind Emma, was equally impressed and expressed her joy for Emma.

"Young mistress, this dress is so pretty. Surely, Young Master has bought it for you," Yuna said cheerfully.

Emma couldn't believe that David would have gone out of his way to get her such an extravagant dress, considering how busy he must be with work.

Nonetheless, Yuna encouraged her to try it on. As Emma changed, she asked Yuna, "Does it look nice on me?"

Yuna, still mesmerised by Emma's transformation, was momentarily speechless.

She gazed at Emma with astonishment before finally responding,

"Young Mistress, this looks incredibly good on you."

Emma's fair skin complemented the vibrant red colour of the dress, and her entire aura seemed to be elevated.

She truly looked more than a princess in that gown.

Feeling satisfied with her appearance, Emma smiled at Yuna's compliment. Yuna then offered to help with her hairstyle, which Emma gladly accepted.

As Yuna touched Emma's hair, she was amazed at how soft and fragrant it felt, as if she were touching a cloud. She did a simple mid-partition and created twists on both sides, securing them with hairpins, resulting in a graceful hairstyle that suited Emma perfectly.

During the hairstyling, Emma noticed a packet next to her dress, and curiosity got the better of her.

Yuna informed her that it came with the dress, and upon opening it, they found three red boxes adorned with red stones, clearly matching the dress's theme.

Eager to see what was inside, Yuna carefully opened the boxes one by one.

The first box contained a sparkling diamond clip, presumably sent by Ms. Mehna for Emma to wear on her head.

Emma was amazed by its beauty, even though she had never been particularly fond of diamonds and gold.

But looking at the exquisite ensemble she had received, she couldn't help but feel a newfound appreciation for such precious accessories.

The day was turning out to be more magical than Emma had ever imagined. With the gorgeous dress and the elegant diamond clip, she felt like she was living a fairytale
