"What was that pressure, Saem?!" Stephanie asked, her voice trembling as she clung to him, her yellow eyes wide with worry. She seemed to realize what she was doing, and her cheeks flushed. She quickly jumped back, putting a few meters between them, avoiding his gaze. Candy, standing nearby, shot her a piercing glare, her arms crossed over her chest.
"Just some powerful people bickering, I'm sure of it," Saem replied, though his tone held a hint of unease as he settled down on the couch.
