"Cindy... Seriously, what's your deal now? You've already made my life a living nightmare. Are you here to mock me, just like some of my lovely sisters did?" Aurianna blurted out, frustration evident in her voice.
Aurianna couldn't stand being in Cindy's presence. Truth be told, Cindy was even worse than her sisters. At least her sisters didn't pretend to be something they weren't in front of Aurianna.
Cindy, with her usual lack of tact, responded, "Look, I came here to apologize. Things didn't have to escalate like this, but if you hadn't run off, we wouldn't have had to resort to such measures. And maybe, just maybe, if you had owned up to it, Kent could have protected you."
