Mid-term is in sight, the day I get more busy studying, now there is no lunch hour for me. Every time I have I will use as much as possible to study, Arielle too, we rarely meet the others in the cafeteria. Luckily Jeffyin always met me in the library or my room, he would sit quietly watching me busy studying, then leave when his class started or in the middle of the night.
Sometimes I miss practice in the basketball room at night, no calls to Jullian, and no dates. My diet was starting to fall apart too, if it wasn't for Jeffyin who reminded me I might always skip my lunch.
"How about your study?" I asked Jeffyin, he was eating some of my gummy bears on the bed. All-day we locked ourselves in my room, I was busy studying while Jeffyin scrambled every corner of my room. Jeffyin doesn't have basketball practice today.
"Fine," he replied casually. He just glanced at me.
"I don't like stupid boys, just so you know Jeffyin," I said warning.
Jeffyin got off the bed and put on his shoes, "I know." Then a perfect kiss landed on my cheek, "Don't sleep too late. Bye, Rain.".
"Wait a minute," I stopped Jeffyin. "I never let you kiss me casually, Jeffyin." Now I have put down my pen.
"Come on, Rain. It was just a quick kiss." Jeffyin gave an excuse. He leaned against my bedroom door, putting on a pitiful face.
"I just don't want my friend to act like he's my boyfriend when he's not." I tried to discuss my status again with him.
"Then you can kiss me as you wish." Jeffyin replied with a smile, "Problem solved."
"Alright, from now on I will also kiss Nethan, Tom, Gallant, and Damien." I said, "And I'm not just saying." My additional sentence to convince Jeffyin.
"Rain," Jeffyin took off his shoes again, walked over to me then knelt right in front of my feet, "I really thought this seriously, but I beg you to understand, this is not an easy thing." Jeffyin held my hand, so warm.
"Tell me, at which point it wasn't easy." I released my hand from his grip.
"I can't tell you." He answered feeling guilty, I know Jeffyin didn't mean to.
I grabbed his hand again which was lying on my lap, "I'm not forcing you, Jeffyin. If it doesn't, I want this to end soon, whatever it is."
Jeffyin lowered his head to my lap, his breath heavy. "Please, Rain. Understood me, is it difficult?"
"This is difficult Jeffyin, especially if you don't explain it to me." I tried my best to contain my emotions at this moment, "I don't ask for rose petals in the whole cafeteria, or 1000 candles in front of my class, or millions of love letters in my bag."
"Sorry," he said quietly, Jeffyin stood back up, and walked over to put on his shoes.
I looked at his back walking away, really, I feel so comfortable spending my time with him but if it continues without a definite explanation of my status, thank you, I'm tired of that kind of relationship.
I sat quietly in my chair, not moving an inch to fix this,
"Jeffyin," I called when Jeffyin had stepped out, "Good night." I surrender.
Jeffyin leaned his head against my bedroom door, "Good night, Rain." Then finally really go.
My cell phone rings and El's name is written on it. "What's wrong El?" I asked.
"Are you in your room, Aubrey?" El asked, I heard street noise and people.
"Yeah, I'm studying, what's wrong?" I asked curiously.
"Oh GOD, quickly change your clothes and meet me at the front gate," El said impatiently.
"What is it? Did something happen?" I asked a little panicked.
"Yes! You really need to hurry up, put on some nice clothes." El managed to make me a little nervous.
What is going on? "What for? Tell El, what's the matter?"
"Just do what I say, I'll be there in a minute. Wear nice clothes. Bye, Aubrey." And that's when the call ended.
This is crazy! I immediately closed my book and looked for clothes in the special clothing room.
***
I slightly ran down the stairs while placing my call on El. "I've come down, you've arrived?"
"I'm already here," She answered happily, I could clearly see the red car at the front gate, it was definitely Elainne.
"I see you!" I immediately approached her.
"You're crazy, Aubrey!" The first words El said when e saw me. "We're not going on a midnight tour."
What is wrong?
"I was sure you would be like this." El showed a beige bag in the back seat of his car, "Hurry up and change your clothes."
I just obeyed and got into his car, El was driving pretty fast, as if we were going to miss something.
"Are you able to tell me now, where are we?" Actually, I already have lots of place names in my head, purple glitter dresses, and diamond-studded boots. It's clear where I'm going to end up.
"Club, it's the last week before the exams, you should have fun, Aubrey," El said casually.
I wasn't too surprised, but surprisingly I didn't feel angry or upset either. I feel like getting there soon. It didn't take long for El's car to park in front of a place, there was a loud bang inside. Many were lined up at the entrance.
"Come on, I hope it's not too late." El and I walked past the line of people waiting in line, and the guard at the entrance easily let us through.
"You know them?" I asked a little surprised to see us being allowed in just like that.
"I grew up here, Aubrey." El joked, "Look at that!" El pointed to someone very busy on a fairly high stage, I could easily tell that person was a disc jockey.
"Yes, I see."
"Don't you recognize who it is?" What is necessary?
I took a closer look at the person El was referring to. "Not."
"That's Darrell, gosh," El said in disbelief.
"Well, I don't know who he is." El pulled me deeper into the crowd dancing on the dance floor. I saw some people I know gathered at a set table.
"Look who I brought." El shows me off.
"Oh my, Aubrey!" Reine screamed in surprise. There's Hilaire, Emilie, Tom, and Fanette.
"This semester's most popular girl has finally shown who she is," said Tom.
"Crazy, El dragged me here," I responded to Tom's words.
"Definitely," Fanette said with a slightly scornful tone, maybe.
"The important thing now is that you have to have fun, okay?" Hilaire put her arm around me and a full glass in her hand.
"Okay."
I ended up having as much fun as El had hoped for, all the tension because the exam was about to be forgotten for a moment. The sound of the music was so loud that it continued to pound nonstop in my head, and I don't know how many drinks I've had. It's so much fun, totally new in my life.
I didn't expect to experience this before I turned 20, the nightlife of Paris.
"I have to go to the toilet," I said goodbye to Emilie, I tried to get out of this crowd of people, really feeling nauseous and wanting to throw up.

The sun's rays pierce my eyes, oh my God, my head felt heavy and hurt. I tucked myself into the blanket to avoid light. Wait a minute, the light in my room has never been this bright. I popped my head again the sunlight pierced my eyes once again and also made me fully aware. This is not my room.
I heard the sound of someone whining next to me, as if angry that his sleep had been disturbed. I slowly pulled the blanket that covered his body, and it showed the face I didn't recognize, gosh, I'm dead.
I got off the bed and quickly left this place.
"Where are you El?" I asked El, El came right away when I called her to pick me up.
"I'm on the other side of the bakery."
I saw her and immediately approached her, "Thank you for coming."
"It's my fault, I'm sorry Aubrey."
"No need, nothing bad happened." It's true. When I woke up, my clothes were intact.
I quickly explained the incident to El on the way back home, I'm grateful she came to pick me up.
"So, is that guy handsome?" El asked curiously.
"I don't know, I just caught a glimpse of it," I replied, do not remember at all.
"You should have taken a picture," El advised earnestly.
"Where did I even think about that?" I answered, how could I ever take pictures.
Then we both laughed, El led me to the front of my room, and the crazy thing that happened there really wasn't on time. "Where have you two been all night?" Jeffyin was standing there, a large plastic bag in his hand.
"Hey Traynor, isn't it too early for an impromptu interrogation?" El immediately dodged Jeffyin's question before going any further. I immediately ran to hug Jeffyin, trying to make him less upset. "Okay, I'm back to my room. Bye, Aubrey!" El saying goodbye to me when it looks like I can deal with this on my own.
"You smell like alcohol," Jeffyin said still with his arms.
I lifted my face from his chest, then smiled, "Really?" I asked with laughed a little.
"Oh my God, what did Elainne do to you."
I immediately took Jeffyin into my room. My hands that had been wrapped around his waist I moved to his neck, and hugged him once again, tighter.
"This won't work, Rain. You still have to answer my questions." Jeffyin said. He understood what was in my head.
"Is that real?" I loosened my arms, making my face right in front of him.
"I'm currently in prison, but you let me do this, Rain." He said then immediately kissed me, very deeply.
My head is tilted up, his face is right above mine, and I can feel his tongue in my mouth. Trying to do something, but I don't understand, Jeffyin easily lifted me onto my desk, "So tell me, where did you sleep last night?" he asked in between our kisses.
I ignored his question and focused on what I was doing, my fingers one by one going through Jeffyin's long hair, tugging a little to hold the kiss. I like his scent.
"You really reek of alcohol." Jeffyin protested to me. Jeffyin moved his lips away from me.
I pulled him back and bit his lower lip lightly, "So you don't like it?" I asked.
"No, I prefer strawberries," Jeffyin replied, after that all my lips were in his mouth. Jeffyin just kept pulling me closer, pressing my body against him.
"I will remember."
Once again, I felt his tongue in my mouth. I let him, he's a Parisian, so it's clear he knows more about this. I opened my mouth more, giving Jeffyin more access, I accidentally choked, Jeffyin finally pulled his lips away slightly, "Sorry," I whispered to him.
Jeffyin put his hands on the table, and his body slowly moved forward, causing me to lean back slightly. His eyes looked at me, intense, "I can't understand what you want if you just stare at me, Jeffyin." I whispered again.
"I want you, Rain." The words are so profound.
I smiled briefly then kissed him again, making myself out of breath, I gently pulled his hair, making Jeffyin let go of his lips, "It's not that easy Mr. " I said unfinished because Jeffyin covered my lips with his again.
Jeffyin lifted me, bringing my face on top of his, I heard him growl softly as he gently pushed my body against the bedroom door, pressing his body closer to mine..

The first day of exams, it's crazy. First time in my life so tense just for an exam, I mean I just need to answer a few questions and then go home, shouldn't be so stressful. Shouldn't.
"I brought a sedative, you want?" Arielle offered me.
"Looks like I need it," I said then received a clear capsule with a few small grains in it, without thinking I immediately swallowed it.
"What are you eating?" Jeffyin appeared out of nowhere.
"Candy," I replied.
"Is that true?" he asked a little doubtfully.
"Yeah, right." Arielle helps me.
I saw a relaxed look etched on Jeffyin's face, there was no anxiety there. Well, I don't know if he's like that because he's learned so hard or just doesn't care. I hooked my hands on him, trying to get some positive energy out of him.
"Your hands are shaking," Jeffyin said, he gripped me quite firmly.
"Yes," I replied, trying to be calmer.
"Don't worry, I'm here." He said so confidently.
"That doesn't help, Jeffyin." I'm telling the truth.
"Not?"
I finally looked into his eyes, then shook my head slowly.
"How about this," Jeffyin hugged me, so deeply.
"Better," I said in his arms.
The bell finally rang, so loud it sounded in my ears, enough to break my heart which was beating so fast right now. "Listen to me," Jeffyin lowered his head, leveling with my face, "You are trying so hard for this, everything will go smoothly, you just need to trust me." His long words reassured me.
I gave him a short kiss before entering the class with Arielle.

After an awful hour had passed, I opened my phone to see the message that had come in, from Jeffyin.
I and the others are watching the match, just wait in your room, I'll be there soon.
I took a deep breath, apparently, the exam wasn't as scary as I thought it would be, well, even I can reassure myself that next week will go well, but now I really want to meet Jeffyin.
"I can assure you, he watched the game," Arielle said. We both walked down the hall to the cafeteria.
"How do you know?" I am surprised.
"During exams week there was a match, everyone was talking about it in the group." Obvious.
"Oh."
"I know you're busy preparing for your exams, but at least pay attention to your surroundings, Aubrey," suggested Arielle, remembering I'd always been nonchalant.
"I see, Arielle."
"So today, just the two of us?" Arielle asked in a slightly bored tone.
"Yeah, I guess," I replied lazily. Arielle and I were standing in front of the cafeteria, staring at the busy people inside with the food in front of them..
"How about the library?" Arielle gave me another option.
"Agree!"
With confidence Arielle and I headed for the library, "I can assure you, the library is quiet." I say. Well, based on my experience, during a normal day the library is not too crowded, especially during exams.
"You'll be surprised, Aubrey." Said Arielle like someone who knows very well what we will see next.
And do you know what happened next? I didn't have time to blink when I found a library so crowded with people. "We'd better find the remaining spots soon." Said Arielle woke me up.
"Is that possible, it's already packed with people." Not sure, this is a scene that is hard for me to believe, during school, the loneliest place is the library, it's not the same.
"Find anyone who is sitting alone, then ask if we can join in his desk, they'll be allowed us." Arielle gave me quick accurate tips.
"But I dare not Arielle." If you think I've blended in with the people here, the answer is no. For the past 3 months, I've only been talking to the same people every day.
"Don't worry, no one will bite you."
"Not helping at all, Arielle."
"Sorry, let's just search together." After agreeing, Arielle and I walked through the library, looking for our target.
At first, I was sure the odds were 50% but after going through a few tables and rows, the chances were getting less and less to 5%. "Looks like we have to give up Arielle," I say surrendering.
"Excuse me..." Arielle said quite loudly with a little run to the table in the back near the large glass window.
I saw someone there, judging from his position it was clear that the person was sleeping, his body slightly lowered, his legs stretched out straight with his head quite upright on the back of the chair equipped with large headphones in his ears. Black leather jacket and reap jeans, his hands folded across his chest with a bracelet with piano keys on it.
"Excuse me!" Arielle said a little louder, trying to wake the person up.
I immediately approached Arielle, "Looks like we'll just find another place, Arielle." I suggested after researching the sleeping person.
"No need, let's just sit here, it looks like he's sleeping quite soundly," Arielle reassured me.
"Is that all right?" I quite doubted Arielle's statement, even though it was true that he was fast asleep, I was still afraid.
"Don't worry, there's no way we'd have the misfortune of running into a serial killer."
I was confident with Arielle and sat in the chair opposite the man, while Arielle was next to me. I took out my history notebook and the fashion history book I bought, I've looked around a bit, and luckily I got the right book because most of the content is related to my college material..
I'm a little annoyed with the guy, well, but it can't be helped, there's nowhere to sit. I was trying to focus on tomorrow's exam material when Arielle said, "I'm going to the toilet for a bit."
"Okay," I answered. I don't know where it came from, suddenly I dared myself to see the person's face, the person's eyelashes were quite long, but Jeffyin's longer, that person also had a very firm and handsome facial line.
"Your friend is very noisy, miss," said the man in front of me, I was so shocked that I closed my eyes, slowly I opened my eyes again, confirming for myself whether that person was speaking and suddenly the man's eyes opened and looked straight into my eyes, I almost scream if only my hands didn't cover this mouth.
"Sorry," I said to him, don't ask the reason, I don't know.
"Don't mind me, just carry on." Then his eyes closed again.
Oh! Lord! He's a human right?
"What is it?" Arielle asked as she returned to her seat.
"There isn't anything." My answer does not want to continue the strangeness earlier.
