Chapter 9 - Chapter 9: Morality

Hayato found himself traveling inside of a deep forest in the Land of Tea, with him nearly halfway to the Land of Fire after he departed.

Nearly a week had passed since he first left from his home, with him deciding on where he wished to travel to first not long after leaving.

In the entire Shinobi World, their were few Nations as reputable as the Land of Whirlpools, otherwise know as Uzushiogakure.

The Uzumaki were fearsome Shinobi that possessed a multitude of abilities and factors that made them so feared, with any one of those features being something that could make a Clan famous.

From extremely vast Chakra Reserves, Sensory Techniques that made them some of the greatest Sensors in the World, the ability to heal others through nothing more than a bite, and even Fuinjutsu that made them a threat to the very stability of the Shinobi World.

And it was that last thing that interested Hayato so greatly, as he wished to learn if Fuinjutsu was similar to the programming that he was familiar with in his past life. And if it was, then he definitely wished to learn it, as Fuinjutsu seemed to be the most powerful type of art that existed inside of the Naruto World.

Resurrecting the dead, summoning the God of Death, teleportation, and even sealing Godlike beings away were just some of the uses that Fuinjutsu could possess if used in the proper way.

So just having the possibility of being able to learn such an overpowered art was the reason that he chose it as the first place that he should visit, especially since he wasn't entirely sure when the Village may have been destroyed.

And the simple fact that at least three of the five Great Villages combined their power just to ensure that the Village was destroyed spoke volumes over just how threatening that a single Village could be to the structure and stability of the Shinobi World.

'Now that I think about it, why didn't Hashirama gift Uzushiogakure with the Seven Tails? I mean, if he wished to create a deterrence and peaceful type of stability through the way of mutual destruction, then why would he give it to the people that sent a Shinobi to assassinate him rather than a Clan that was related to his own? It's question like these that make this world much more complex than it was portrayed in the Anime, so I wonder what else could be different than the assumptions that people made?' Hayato though to himself as he continued walking.

However, it was at that moment that Hayato stopped, with him looking around at the people he could easily hear surrounding him.

"You can come out now. There is no need for you to stay hidden." Hayato said to them as he looked around at each of them.

It was at that moment that multiple men in torn clothing came from behind the trees, with them each looking at the boy as if he were pray.

"Leave all of your stuff and we'll spare your life. You mother should have told you not to travel alone, brat." The one that Hayato presumed was the leader of the bandits stated as he stared at Hayato.

Hayato had to admit that he was dressed like noble, though that was because the identity that he had in his new world was that of a noble.

He was the eldest son of some young noble that was high ranking in the Daimyo's Court in the Land of Tea, with his mother dying when he was born.

The man then sent him to the remote home near the center of the land after he turned 7, with Hayato originally supposed to have servants and guards with him, yet he was unsure what happened afterwords as his last memory was leaving before he awoke in the body.

His best guess was that they were attacked and the Light manipulated the world so that he would make it to his destination alone while Yangchen was his new guardian.

But, these facts made him quite important in the major parts of the world, as the Land of Tea was a major distributor of supplies to Konoha, and their lobbying for certain actions could be achieved. This was why he was so confident that Uzushiogakure would at least teach him the basics, as they wouldn't turn away what they could assume would be a major player in a foreign nation that could be considered an ally of theirs.

Hayato then turned his attention back to the group surrounding him, and with a single glance, he made the air around them gain weight.

Immediately, all of the bandits found themselves pressed to the ground as Hayato looked at them all and contemplated if he should finish them, yet Yangchen's words in the past sounded in his head from when he once asked her about the topics of taking lives.

"While I'm not like Aang since I won't rule out the option, I believe that only in the most serious of circumstances should that option be taken. But I believe that you can act with your own judgement."

Hayato simply continued walking on his path while the bandits couldn't move, with the bandits not able to move again until nearly half an hour later.
