Yi Qiu immersed a clean handkerchief into the bowl of cold water before squeezing out the water and dabbing the bump on the Empress dowager's right hand gently.
"Sorry, your majesty," she muttered as Zhao Ronglei winced, she glanced up at her mistress before she resumed dabbing.
She looked up as she heard the maids standing guard outside greet someone.
Zhao Ronglei sat forward and muttered, "Is it Tingfeng? It must be him".
"Let me go check", Yi Qiu said throwing the handkerchief into the water and walking to the door. Her eyes widened as she met the Grand Chancellor's heavy glare.
"Master," she muttered bowing deeply. The Grand Chancellor said nothing and instead glared down at the maid.
He felt irritated just looking at her, He turned to his attendant and instructed, "Get rid of every single one of her maids. Why keep them if all they do is encourage her stupidity!"
