Yuanying and her mother Mu shi jumped as Prince Ye pushed the door open with force. The door hit the wall with loud banc which made them look up. They shivered as the Prince's angry gaze came into view.
Mu Shi unwrapped her hands from her daughter and stood from the bed. "Your...Your Highness," she said softly walking towards him. She tried to hold his hand but he quickly shook her hand off.
"Wha-what is it, your highness?"
Prince Ye ignored her and glanced at his daughter who had stopped crying at some point. She blinked as his sharp gaze fell on her, "f-father, you just met Wang Ci, right? Her Majesty must have sent him to apologise for the guards' rude attitude.
"I don't know what those guards were thinking. How could they treat me that way? I bet it was that greedy grand Princess's fault. She must feel threatened by my relationship with the Crown Prince!
