Chapter 18 - Strength

Looking at the little junior sister who was hugging her made Liang Xiaoling smile.

"Hello senior sister Ling Ling," said Xu Yue. The moment she said this, Liang Xiaoling almost spit out a mouthful of blood.

"Little Yue," said Ling Ling as she put her hand on top of Xu Yue's head.

Feeling the hand try to ruffle her hair, Xu Yue had to resist the urge to pull out her sword and fight one hundred rounds with her senior sister. One of Xu Yue's hands stopped hugging her senior sister and went to the top of her head, keeping her senior sister's hand in check.

Ling Ling's hand continued to move on top of Xu Yue's head, unperturbed by her junior sister's attempts to stop it.

Looking at her head, which was now a mess, Xu Yue looked desolate. Spending 30 minutes straightening it out would be mind-numbingly boring.

As she thought of this, her eyes became a little bit moist.

"She looks so cute when I bully her," thought Ling Ling, looking at Xu Yue. Seeing her junior's moist eyes, her heart softened.

"I will help you straighten out your hair," said Ling Ling, patting Xu Yue on the head.

"Will you?" asked Xu Yue timidly.

"Success," thought Xu Yue in her mind, a wicked smile appearing on her face.

Xu Yue bought her senior sister into her cave abode.

Several years later, Ling Ling will remember this and curse her past self for being stupid and entering the tiger's den on her own.

Looking at her junior sister's cave abode, Ling Ling couldn't help but smile.

A while later, Xu Yue was sitting on her senior sister's lap, feeling the hairbrush going through her hair, Xu Yue couldn't help but want to relax.

Looking at Xu Yue who was relaxing, Liang Xiaoling felt like her junior sister finally looked like an actual little girl. Several thoughts that she had in her mind were extinguished just a moment later.

As her senior sister was brushing her hair, Xu Yue couldn't help but let her imagination run wild.

An adult Xu Yue was sitting on a golden throne. This time there were only three people in the room. Feng Shuchun stood behind Xu Yue, massaging her shoulders, a scantily clad Senior Sister obediently stood on Xu Yue's lap, peeling grapes and feeding them to her.

After what seemed like an eternity, Xu Yue had finally gotten bored of the grapes. She put one hand over her Senior sister's waist and then stood up. She then put her senior sister over her shoulder, and her other hand took her master by the waist. After this, Xu Yue began walking towards a room with a luxurious bed.

"It's done," said Ling Ling, looking at Xu Yue's now straight hair.

"Thank you, senior sister," said Xu Yue with an embarrassed look on her face.

Xu Yue looked at her senior sister, who was now exiting the cave, and unconsciously licked her lips. At that moment, both her senior sister and Feng Shuchun felt an inexplicable chill in their hearts.

Eight months later,

Feng Shuchun felt extremely satisfied after looking at the obedient Xu Yue.

"Since you have finally completed your meridian tampering, you can soon breakthrough to the Foundation Establishment realm," said Feng Shuchun, looking at the serious Xu Yue.

"The Foundation establishment realm is the realm in which the foundation for refining Qi is created."

"The foundation establishment realm is separated into three stages, Body Unification, Body Preparation, and Dantian Opening."

"In the body unification realm, the body of the cultivator begins to transform from many small parts into one whole."

"The body preparation stage involves strengthening the body in preparation for refining Qi."

"In the Dantian Opening stage, the cultivator must open and unclog their dantan, the place in which Qi will be held if the cultivator reaches the Qi Refinement realm."

"To reach the Foundation Establishment realm, you must succeed in body Unification. Normal cultivators use a secret technique to Unify their bodies. "

"To reach the Foundation Establishment in the Sect, there is only one requirement, reaching greater Accomplishment in the Origin Sword Style."

"Ancestor had subtly fused the style with several body refinement techniques when creating it, without altering the style's strength in the least."

Xu Yue couldn't help but wonder how strong you needed to be to be able to do something like that.

Had the ancestor created the style when he was already an immortal, or had it's strength grown with him.

Thinking of this, Xu Yue became determined, for the first time in her life, she will enter seclusion.

"She will not become any more arrogant after knowing how strong she actually is," thought Feng Shuchun, knowing her disciple .

"I will let him challenge her."

Just as Xu Yue was walking towards her cave abode, she heard a voice call out to her.

"Junior Sister Xu," said a young swordsman.

"You are?"

"My name is Liu Shen Junior, sister," said Liu Shen.

"I have been challenging the powerful young disciples in the sect."

"Don't worry, junior sister, only use Meridian Refinement level strength to fight."

Looking at Liu Shen, Xu Yue figured gaining a little bit more combat experience never hurt.

She then took out her sword.

"Junior sister?" asked Liu Shen, not knowing what to do.

"Let's fight here. We won't cause much damage anyway."

Looking at Xu Yue, Liu Shen took a deep breath and took out his sword.

"As I am older, you can attack first, Junior Sister," said Liu Shen.

The moment he said this, Liu Shen felt the threat of death. He saw Xu Yue coming towards him slashing at his sword. He used his sword to block the attack. The moment he did so, a cracking sound was heard.

"Ahhhhh," Liu Shen let out a cry as the bones in his hands were broken, he was then thrown back by the attack, if not for a blue light that saved him he would have been thrown of the mountain peak.

At the same time, in a trial ground at the edge of the sword region.

"I need to become stronger," though Yang He.

He was considered one of the weakest preparatory disciples of this generation in the origin sword sect.

Preparatory Disciples were disciples with good potential who did not yet have the strength necessary to become outer Disciples.

He was nineteen, and he had barely Reached greater Acoplishment in the origin sword art, thus he was still merely at the Meridian Refinement Stage.

"If only I could be as strong as Junior Brother Liu Shen," said Yang He out loud.

Even though Liu Shen was at the body preparation stage, his strength had already reached the Soul Enlightenment Realm. Compared with Yang He, his strength is several times higher.
