Darren was unable to speak as he stared up into the beautiful face of this stranger looking down at him. The man towered over him with his mouth spread into a huge smile. His lips were moving, but Darren wasn't hearing anything coming out of his mouth, mesmerized by the man. It was almost like he was frozen in place, the world around him muted, all because of this gorgeous man standing in front of him. And Darren didn't know it at the time, but he would serve this man.
"Sorry I wasn't here when you first arrived, but you must be Darren," the handsome man extended a hand just as Darren came out of his trance, "I'm Sam. Your mom is going to be marrying my dad."
Although Darren was small for his age, Sam had to be more than a foot taller than him. This meant that Darren had to tilt his head back to be able to look into Sam's deep brown eyes. Words were still struggling to form a sentence in his brain, so instead Darren went to take Sam's hand in greeting. It might have been his imagination, but he could have sworn there was a spark between them when their palms touched.
"Ha, static electricity," Sam said, just before he yanked Darren forward into a hug, "Nice to meet you, little man."
And there they stood in an embrace, in the front doorway of Darren's new home. Sam's whole body seemed to envelope him, and Darren was happy for the first time that day. He'd been feeling down up to this point, having just moved out of their old house and leaving his older brother Randy behind. His brother had only just moved home this past summer, and they'd bonded in ways that many probably wouldn't understand. But Darren loved his brother and the last few months had been the best.
Today had been moving day, and he'd tried not to cry as he and his mom pulled away from their old house, watching Randy standing on the front porch waving goodbye. To make it all worse, he was leaving the familiarity of his brother, in exchange for a new family that he'd not even met yet. As they drove over to their new home, his mom told him for the first time that her fiancé had two sons, one older boy in college who would be living with them, and a second younger son who lived with his mom and spent time with his dad occasionally. So this man, whose arms Darren was currently melting into, must be the older son.
A strong musk was pouring off Sam, who was still hugging Darren tight to him. Considering his 'step-brother' was so much taller than Darren, he basically had his face pressed into an armpit, which Darren didn't mind. He even took in a deep breath, enjoying the masculine scent that this man exuded. He was disappointed when Sam finally broke their embrace, keeping his hands on Darren's shoulders to hold him out at arms-length.
"Let me get a look at you," Sam looked him up and down, as Darren took in the perfection that was Sam, "I've been looking forward to meeting you, it'll be nice to have some company. Dad travels a lot, so now I'll at have my new little buddy to entertain me."
"Good to finally meet you, Sam," Darren finally was able to mumble out, "My mom mentioned that you lived with your dad, but that's really all I know."
"Well, let me help you move your stuff in," Sam offered, giving Darren's shoulders a squeeze before letting him go and flashing a big smile, "And we can spend the day getting to know each other. I didn't make plans today knowing you'd be moving in."
For the next few hours, Sam and Darren hauled box after box from the moving truck. There wasn't any furniture, they'd left all that behind in their old house, along with his brother Randy. His 'stepdad' had a fully furnished home, up in the hills, so Darren and his mom only needed to bring their clothes and other personal belongings.
As they unloaded the truck, Darren tried not to stare too openly at Sam. But it seemed that every time he did check out his step-brother to be, Sam would catch him and give that same gorgeous smile that made Darren weak. He'd had a few crushes on boys, and so he was familiar with this anxious feeling in his stomach. A lot had happened so far this year, some good, some not so good, but Darren was feeling pretty happy about his new situation knowing that he'd have Sam around.
This past summer had been his sexual awakening, and he'd come to learn that he'd liked boys. He'd had some help accepting that and his brother Randy had been there with him on parts of that journey. He couldn't deny that Sam brought out those same desires that had grown in him for some of other boys. Those boys that had played a role in his coming to terms with what he was. A faggot. Meant to serve men. And he was already wondering what it would be like to be at Sam's feet. At his big feet.
It was late afternoon by the time they finished and Sam suggested they spend some quality time together, before Darren got to the task of unpacking. Their parents, Darren's mom and Sam's dad, had gone out for dinner, leaving them some money on the kitchen counter figuring their sons could order delivery food and spend the night getting to know each other better.
They talked over pizza, eating in the big back yard. There was a massive garden, with trails and benches tucked away in spots, with a large pool in the middle of it all. Sam shared that his parents had divorced when he was just a boy and his little brother was still a baby. He'd only moved in with his dad last year to go to college, leaving his brother with their mom. But his little brother came to visit every other weekend pretty much.
Darren listened and gazed at Sam's long slender frame. Once they'd had their fill of pizza, they'd moved over to the recliners by the edge of the pool. Sam laid back and stretched out with his arms above his head. Darren took in all of him, including the substantial bulge in his shorts. It was a warm October night, and Sam at one point peeled off his shirt and provided Darren with the view of his lean torso and slightly hairy chest. This man could be a model in Darren's opinion, but Sam was going to college to be an architect and planned to work for Dad's construction firm. It kept him pretty busy, so he spent most of his time either at school or home studying.
Sam asked about Darren, as his dad hadn't told him much other than the fact that his girlfriend and her younger son would be moving in before getting married later that year. Darren shared that his parents had also divorced and Darren and his sister had gone to live with his mom while his two older brothers had stayed with their dad to finish out high school.
When Sam pressed Darren about how he felt to move here, leaving his friends behind and start at a new school, Darren admitted that he hadn't really had many friends. He had only been sad to leave his older brother Randy, who had just come home this past summer. It had been nice to have his brother home again. And there was no denying that they'd bonded deeper over the summer, although Darren left out many of the details when telling Sam how they'd gone on camping with a large group of friends. He was pretty certain Sam would be shocked if he knew even a fraction of what had happened on that trip
"And I already know some kids at my new school," Darren told Sam, admiring Sam in the fading light of the day, "My cousin, Scotty, goes there and I met a group of his friends. Me and my cousin aren't close anymore, but I think his friends liked me."
"What happened with you and your cousin," Sam asked, sitting up and turning to face Darren.
"Oh, you know, we just don't get along," Darren answered, feeling uncomfortable and regretting having even brought up Scotty.
"But something must have caused you to stop being close," Sam pressed, standing up and moving to crouch down next to where Darren was sitting, "You can tell me anything, we are gonna be family soon after all and have to be there for each other."
"Scotty is just selfish and wasn't very nice to me sometimes," Darren was uncomfortable having Sam so close to him, worried the older boy would be able to sense somehow that Darren was attracted to him.
"Yeah, family can suck sometimes. Me and my brother have our moments, that's for sure," Sam admitted, before tousling Darren's hair, "You're a good kid, I can tell. Just know you can come to me if you ever need advice or want someone to talk to you. But for now, I need to take a leak something bad."
With that announcement, Sam stood and walked over to the edge of the lawn, not more than 5 feet away from Darren. With his back turned to him, Sam pulled down the front of his shorts and within seconds, Darren could hear a heavy stream splashing into the grass. He wished he could be watching from the front, but even Sam from the back was a sight to see. Sam titled his head to look up into the night sky and sighed loudly.
"That felt amazing, something about take a piss outside," Sam said once he'd finished and pulled back up his shorts turning back to Darren, "But I need to go study and you've got unpacking to do, so I'll see you inside."
Sam flashed his now familiar smile before walking away and heading into the house, leaving Darren to process what he was feeling. How was he going to be able to keep his secret from Sam, how could he hid the obvious attraction he already felt toward the older boy. It was going to be torture, he already knew that. And yet, he couldn't stop himself from kneeling down on the cement lining the lawn and reaching out to press his hand to the grass that was wet with Sam's piss. And he didn't notice Sam watching from the kitchen window as he raised his hand to his face to lick at his damp palm.
