CHAPTER ONE
A baby was crying in the room but no one was attending her. She was on the floor which was apparently filled with this red liquid which looked like blood as one of the wardens moved for the daily check up routine she noticed the liquid coming from beneath the door and as they opened the door an eventful scene had taken place. Totally different strangers meeting each other at the unusual place ever but they would click and not even know that in the end before the year end they would become lovers and being close to each other with care understanding . Blessing or a curse would be the question from others but to them it was the break they needed .
Royalty was a loyal girl friend to an undeserving guy but she loved him . She was always hurt by him . Sleepless nights and tears was now her new noum and all her friends wanted peace for her and with this she only prayed .
She was now leaving going home she had to travel for five hours thinking that when she arrives home her boyfriend would meet her . As she waits for the bus to start she met a friend a stranger to be precise . Well as it goes Royalty was just being friendly to a neighbour when they started talking a simple hi ended in exchange of numbers ended in being like long lost friendship that was like a reunion .
Finally she had arrived at her home town and the boyfriend was not able to be seen anywhere and therefore Hakeem the guy from the bus was there to help him again. He helped her to arrive home safely as a gentleman and for the first time in a while Royalty smiled ,she was blushing and she was happy after a while
Days passed without hearing a word from Hakeem she was just now lost in thoughts of the day she met him even when she met Dave the boyfriend she only thought about Hakeem what was going on with her was she like in love with this misterious guy .What was going on in her mind , was she still happy with this other relationship Royalty now just wanted to be free .
One day she recieved a call it was him Hakeem .He was calling her after two week and his first words were''I MISS U ROYALTY'' she was shocked was this true or it was a prank . Later they organised a meeting in twn and as always Royalty dressed her best and Hakeem picked Royalty up in his D4D car and they went somewhere quiet. There they first were quiet it was like they were both shy but had a lot to say. ''Can we go out of the car '' Royalty asked him and they did as she said they went for a walk in a grey sky drizzling weather they just wanted to feel the cold breeze that would soon bring rain and as they were walking in silence Hakeem just break the silence when he just said 'l like you' she was shocked with Hakeem's words and suddenly drops of rain was now falling from the sky and maybe it was a sign from above of thier union and instead of running away like kids they startes to play in the rain , it was peaceful and stress free
Later they went back to the car all drenched and then Hakeem took a sweater from the back of his sit and gave it to Royalty and his scent was all over the jacket and it smelled good and suddenly Royalty dozed off in Hakeem's car but later on she woke up in the car next to Hakeem and he was sleeping also beside her but had no warm clothes on him even though it was warm and all the screens were covered with mist and so she she tried to cover him but he was just holding her hand and she then thought of his last word before the rain started and the she just smiked and looked at Hakeem and he looked handsome as ever and then the thought was disturbed by Dave's phone call she was disapointed that she had to go even she didnt want to. As she arrives at Dave's place they had a major fight which left Royalty with a scar on her arm . The fight was caused by the fact Dave wanted to know why Royalty had took time to answer his call . It was a deep cut , Royalty was bleeding and then Dave started to apologise for hurting her and then blamed her foe the injury she couldnt take it anymore and so she left .She rushed to the hospital and there she called Hakeem and in no time Hakeem had arrived but now Royalty was uncontious as she had lost a lot of blood
. After a while she regained contiousness and the first person that she saw was Hakeem she smiled she was happy but Hakeem was frustated .How could Royalty smile when she almost died due to an unloving boyfriend and not only that Royalty was kicked out of her own home six months ago when she had just told her feelings to her parents . 'Am happy to see you Hakeem now everything will be ok am feeling better' Royalty said . Royalty lets go home once you feel better .
She was discharged and she went home with Hakeem and when they arrived home Dave was standing on the gate drunk and making a scene . It was just unbearable to watch.
