Chapter 2 - Prolugue 2

Johya walks into the Great Hall in the Tower and blood red eyes flick it him. He strains his ears and tries to catch up with some of the mutterings from the gathering using his abilities as he approached them, 'as this was the council of the elite vampires' he had to keep that in mind.

As he trudged closer to them, he notices the varying shades of red blooded eyes flickering around the council and it sent cold shivers down it's spine.

"They all await the guardian!"

He mutters in his mind.

"Just like they shall await in one day!"

"Nice thoughts Johya, but that day may never come!"

A voice intrudes In his mind and he stops in his tracks.

"what now, or are you scared?, weren't you just thinking about that now?".

The voice continues and Johya looks down unable to gaze directly at the gathering again, afraid of gaining eye contact with the owner of the voice whom he was sure owned a pair of flicking eyes.

"fucken snoopy creatures, wonder how he managed to get into his head"

He mutters to himself and makes to turn back when thunder strikes and lightening almost blinding flashes across the room. Sounds of rushing wind is heard and immediately the circles on the middle of the room begins to glow causing the vampires to fall to their knees chanting.

"Hail the Guardian!"

"Hail the Guardian!"

"Hail the Great Guardian!"

The bow their heads low with their hoods pulled down and their cloaks spread in tows. A whirl wind grows from the circles and the Guardian emerges from it. He strikes the staff at the center of the circle and the whirl wind melts away like wind rustling off leaves. He pulls off his hood and beckons on Johya who rushes forward. He steps out of the circle and shrugs off his cloak then hands it to Johya and heads for his seat. Settling on it, he flicks his hand and the elders rise to their feet, bow their heads and settle back on their perspective seats.

As they all got settled, the head of the council rises to his feet and begins to speak.

"permit me my lord!"

"Granted!"

came the Guardian and he began.

"My lord, the witches have successful destroyed the Arch of Benbourgh and laid seige to Askal. They have run down Sheaebear and laid ruins to Askein. They have slaughtered the vampires who tried to fight back and the rest have fled to hiding. Pro to that, the rest of the vampire cities have lost hope nd long deserted their cities."

"Right now, They've seem to relax but we got information from our source in their midst that their next call is us."
