One Hour Later:
I had spent the last hour trying to find winter clothes that fit Lili/Vermi, because no NPC storeowner had expected a child to be climbing the tower.
After finally finding the clothes, so that we both didn't freeze to death, I got the time to think about a few things.
First was the job that I had gotten.

Overall, an amazing job. I was basically an immortal with it.
It was also (SSS) rank, the highest rank that a job could get, well at least of the ones I made.
You see, although I had made almost all the jobs in the game, it seemed like there were new ones made by The Creator to accommodate all the players from all the different worlds as I knew that I had never made a job called "Undying" before.
And, the Undying job was also a Unique grade job, meaning that only I could possess it in the entirety of the game.
Grades went from common, uncommon, rare, and unique, and were used to determine the rareness of, well anything.
I had been pretty surprised with the job, due to the (Unique) grade and also because it hadn't been one of the ones that I was expecting because I had gotten a few jobs multiple times when running the beta tests.
Well, now for the problem with the Undying job, the cost.
Although most jobs didn't have a cost attached to them, the obviously overpowered Undying job was definitely going to be a "Cursed Job" when I first saw it.
This was just meant to balance the overpowered jobs, because, although players earned them fair and square, if the players with these jobs were just able to slaughter everyone, then the game wouldn't be fun anymore and nobody would play it, that was why I added in "Cursed Jobs".
Although I guess the cost was easy to pay in my case, with my shitty personality of being indifferent, if it came to the point where I was dying every second and had to sacrifice one of the people close to me, then it would become a real problem.
Now, second on the things that I had to think about was the "theme" of the first 10 floors.
The "theme" of the first 10 floors was "Courage".
Whether it be the "Courage" to fight the monsters, the "Courage" to brave the elements, or the "Courage" to persist when all your comrades were dead, the first 10 floors tested all things related to "Courage".
Of course, the past 5 floors had been related to the first type of "Courage", culminating with the boss fight against Balouth, who I unfortunately defeated with ease.
The next two would test the second type of "Courage", the second to last would test the third type of "Courage", and then the 10th floor would test all of these combined.
So, my plan was to let the others pass me again, as I wasn't in a hurry anymore, that was, until the 10th floor. I absolutely had to be the first to clear the 10th floor due to the tremendous award the first clearer got.
But, in the meantime, I would just spend my days grinding levels.

I closed my eyes, letting the blood run down my face, soaking my dark canals, letting the smooth, but velvety flow calm my mind as I thought about what I had just been through.
The "admissions exam", if you could call it that, had been a nuisance I guess, the First Floor Trial had been really mid in difficulty, but that last trial, the Second Floor Trial, had been slightly hard, with the end result being me bruised in several places, but fortunately, there was no bleeding yet.
'The trials seem to be getting progressively harder, and much more aggressive than the original, with a disturbing amount of PK'ing taking place to clear each one.'
I could only hope that the next trial didn't have that much fighting in it.

All bruised up and covered with blood that wasn't mine, I closed my eyes as the familiar warmth of the bright light enveloped me.
Opening my eyes again, I found myself in yet another unfamiliar grey, metal room.
'Another killing game, are you kidding me?!'

1. You may only either press "Kill" or "Spare"
2. If you press "Kill" and the other player presses "Spare", then the player next to you will die.
3. Conversely, if you press "Spare" and the other player presses "Kill" then you will die.
4. If you both press "Kill" then you will have to fight to the death.
5. If you both press "Spare" then you both move on to the next round.
6. The game will end when there are less than 50 people remaining.]
'Sigh... Really? Another death game? The gods must have been incredibly bored for the administrators to have changed the game to this extent.'
'Well, at least this game's easy, all I have to do is press "Kill" every time.'
Little did I know, that this way of brash thinking would be a decision that would almost contribute to my untimely demise.
