It was about a fifteen minute drive to the castle, Diviya observes as Michael informs her they were here.
The vehicle slowed, in the distance about 300 meters, she saw the humongous castle spread across a vast space of land that's on a height and below is what looks like a tall rock wall with no way in. At least she could not see any gates only rock.
Diviya creased her eyebrows however before she can ask a question Michael pulls out his phone again and she realized it was this magic mix with technology thing again as Carlton slowly proceeds forward.
The blue light projected out and the rock wall split and the vehicle drove straight through.
They appeared onto a pathway that took them straight up to the largest gates Diviya ever saw in her twenty one years of life. It opens inwards and the vehicle drove through and took the path leading to the castle's entrance.
Diviya's eyes lit up at her surroundings. The yard before her was expansive and beautiful. A circular fountain stood in the middle with some landscaping works around the bottom of the fountain. A beautiful garden to the right, she couldn't see it all though.
When they got to the entrance they were directed towards a passage at the far side of the building.
Carlton drove slowly up to that entrance then parked.
Michael quickly gets out and comes around to open the door for Diviya but by then she was already opening the door making her way out.
Her eyes were glued to the huge building of a castle.
Michael leads the way through a small entrance that led them into what looks like the maids' quarters. There were small rooms on each side and peeking in the few where the doors were slightly ajar Diviya saw beds.
They made their way out of that section and up a small elevator that was next to a swirling stair case. They went straight up to the top floor. That says 'The Demon King'.
Diviya blanched, was she heading to the Demon King's wing itself. Will she be THIS close to him after all? She did not know and she did not want to get ahead of herself, but for some reason that thought excited her a little too much.
The elevator door opens up and Diviya was hit with a wave of something. She couldn't quite explain it.
However she was mesmerized at the picturesque, luxurious look in front of her.
A long deluxe corridor, perfectly white moulded walls covered with what looks like a purple lace material, but that's just the moulding pattern.
The walls were interrupted by decorative royal purple mouldings with a picturesque statue in front of each one.
High gold moulded ceiling with purple outlines with that same lace material looking moulding and it was also purple and arched perfectly.
The floors were tiled with large pearl white tiles, mixed in with some smaller royal purple tiles. The white was shimmering with the expensive bright white LED ceiling lights above which was strategically placed in shapes of diamonds.
Expensive gold candle sconces lined the wall with a yellow LED candle in each. Casting a beautiful glow Diviya imagined as it was off at the moment, these bright ceiling lights were running point.
Along the wall she observes a portrait of a woman, then further was some really expensive painting. She knew by the name on the painting.
As they walk, they pass a couple of rooms on each sides then they walk into an open space on both sides, it was a living area decorated to perfection on the left with a bar in it.
The dining area to the right also decorated beautifully in the same colour patterns purple, white and gold.
Same gorgeous moulding on the walls and ceiling, both carved beautifully.
Just beautiful Diviya thought.
They continue on and they came upon an office. Michael stops and knocks gently before he opens and walks in, turns and gestures Diviya in, Carlton had scurried back to his girlfriend for some more time.
As Diviya enters the room she felt it, though she didn't know what 'IT' was but boy did she feel it deep in her soul taking over her every being.
A comforting warmth.
Her gorgeous green eyes were searching the room, trying to locate the source that's causing her body to be feeling all sorts of things at once.
She steeled herself, there was a guy lounging on the couch who was looking at Diviya now but her eyes then quickly snap to the Greek Devil that was standing in the middle of the room who was now looking at her.
Diviya's and Adonis' eyes connect and they suddenly became lost to the world. It was just the both of them.
No one else.
In that moment all Adonis saw was Diviya and Diviya herself did not notice anything or anyone but the Greek defined specimen, "The Demon Alpha" she whispers softly, breathlessly….
They stared at each other for a long moment, it was like their eyes were staring into each other's soul, searching.
Then it was like something snapped into perfect place. Snapping to where it was always meant to be.
She was captivated by the look in his eyes, she really couldn't read his expression. She was too distracted by an all consuming sense of wholeness filling her and she felt a sense of completion just in his mere presence.
Her heart swelled instantaneously with love and adoration. Her eyes pricked with tears on edge ready to flow.
She felt like she found what she didn't even know was missing in her life. So many emotions flows through her when unexpectedly….
Diviya's eyes rolls back and she stumbles a bit, but no one dare move to her aid.
Though they were focused on Diviya just in case she was in danger of falling.
The Demon King however was rooted to his spot under the same hypnosis as Diviya, feeling the same feelings and emotions, that same complete feeling.
He has been around for thousands of years and he never felt this way and it scared him to death.
He inwardly paled as he stares into her beautiful green eyes. Adonis' view of Diviya was like if he were standing right in front of her. He used his abilities and zoomed in on her so to speak.
This feeling gripped him and was not letting him go.
What was this foreign all-consuming feeling invading his body, seeping through his every bone, crawling up destroying the perfectly carved wall he had constructed around his heart and it scared them all.
But SHE is perfect and all HIS…
Diviya saw her life, his life flashed before her eyes, her past, his past, falling in love, getting married, having a family, a beautiful son and daughter with the love of her life 'the Demon King'. She grasp her chest as the Vision took a different turn.
Diviya then saw glimpses of the road to her happily ever after and it was a long and scary road.
It was the same for Adonis…
Dracul and Michael looks on curiously as Dracul whispers, "they are imprinting."
Adonis and Diviya fully imprinted, were released from their trance but they remained there just staring at each other, their eyes roam each other.
The Demon King drank her in, his eyes greedily scooping up all they can, he knew he had to get out of here. Soon.
At least for now.
Suddenly unknowing to herself Diviya took a step towards him, she felt so drawn to him and she was feeling like some force was literally pulling her to him. She didn't even realize she was doing it until the Demon King stood up straight and disappears out of a side door in the room.
Diviya's breath caught in her throat, she couldn't breathe and she felt an overwhelming amount of rejection by the simple act of him walking away.
Well more like speeding away.
She clutch at her chest as it felt like her heart was breaking into a million tiny pieces. It was breaking in the worse ways. It became extremely hard for her to breathe.
She felt an immense amount of emptiness once more and she needed to feel whole again.
Without knowing it Diviya was running after him.
Dracul rose up and swiftly move in front of Diviya to intercept her. She pushed him out of the way in desperation to make her way to that feeling again.
Dracul went flying to the side, he went tumbling and crash into the big circle table in the middle of the room. Diviya stops in her tracks mortified that she hurt someone again.
She did not know what to do, she stood silently, she tries to ease her aching heart as she stares at the place he exited.
Soon she realizes she doesn't feel him anymore and unsure of all that just happened, she repeats in her head 'its going to be ok, just breathe.'
