'Beep... Beep... Beeeeeeeeeeeep' the heart-rate monitor sounded, as the heart of an old man gave out.
"What a pity... to be abandoned by those you love and to die alone. Hopefully, fate isn't as cruel to you in your next life." a doctor said standing over the still-warm body of the old man, as a white orb shot out of the body's chest and into the heavens that nobody could see.
"What a poor soul, the family of this man should be ashamed of themselves, he sacrificed everything for them, only to be left to die alone." a hoarse male voice said
"Indeed, dear, why don't we bless this man and reincarnate him into our world?" a gentle female voice asked
The soul listened as the voices spoke to each other wondering what the hell was going on but sadly couldn't express itself or move.
"Well then, I hope the threads of fate will treat you kindly this time, but even if they don't we have granted you the power to fight against it." the hoarse male voice said
"Oh, before we send you off if you wish to communicate with us, then all you have to do is find a church or shrine and pray and we shall respond to you, good luck." the kind female voice said
As she said that, the soul was whisked away by an unfathomable power into a bright light.
