Luis immediately jumped to his feet. His hands went to his pockets as he searched for his phone. "Shit! Where the hell is my phone."
"Over here, boy!" Declan said and tossed his phone. Luis caught it and immediately dialed her number.
Mariah was almost red with embarrassment. Nobody had forgotten how Luis could be when he was lied to and they were waiting for it. Betty gave Mariah a knowing look but it was returned with a glare. Ophelia snickered again.
Vivienne's phone was switched off. "Fuck! She turned her phone off!"
"Calm down, boy. She probably had a flat battery," Trenton said.
But Luis shook his head. "No, it's not that. She turned off her phone."
