"No!" Amelia protested immediately.
"I'll not listen to you. Before you think I want to have her killed, no. I just want to pass a warning to her. She should stay away from the Jewel Goddess and accept that it no longer belongs to her."
Amelia sighed and slipped her fingers into her hair as she looked up into the sky. What had she gotten herself into?
Just as she was about to reply to Gavin, Someone yelled her name and she turned to see Pope running towards her in panic.
Amelia placed a hand on Gavin's arm to stop him from talking. Gavin heaved and waited, also curious to know why Pope had yelled her name with so much panic in his voice.
Behind Pope, a few of Jewel Goddess' Designers followed after, their faces looking all drawn. Amelia frowned and wondered what might have caused this.
