He might have tried to hide it but nothing could stop Ana from noticing how nervous he is to leave the house.
"Are you sure you want to go?"
"I have to. Else my mother would stomp here and make a scene in front of the house. If I am not careful, she might even threaten to take her own life."
Ana would have thought he was being dramatic except that she had heard his mother talk and although she hadn't seen the woman, from her tone and manner of speaking; especially about the man, she could deduce that she wasn't a soft woman to deal with. She is probably the type that will twist his ears and ask him to bring home a wife because she wants grandkids to play with.
"Does your mother know?" She wriggles her brows at him. "About your lady crush?"
