She expected the young lady to just nod and move on but instead Marcey smirks. A wicked looking one.
"That past... he is a man that once killed another man for looking at the woman he loved more than twice. Ethan used to be a complete tyrant. A monster. A monster everyone feared and no one wanted to go near."
She was expecting a dramatic response from Ana. Maybe an overdramatic one. Maybe. She was excepting the ladys eyes to bugle and almost fall from their socket but Ana simply stares at the table and told her. "Why am I not surprised?"
She has seen the way the man loves and knows he gives his whole to it. She knows he loves hard and maybe he used to love harder in the past. Who knows? She draws her chair backwards and rises to her feet.
