Normally, he would have thought Marcey is being the dramatic she again. Except that he could see the fear in her eyes and it made him scared too. Marcey might not be the most powerful but she rarely gets scared. She always has the courage to face situations and although it has landed her in a lot of trouble, she refused to change. Neither does she cry. When she cried few minutes ago, he knew she was really hurt because she only gets hurt by people whom she takes to be dear to he heart. Which was why he had decided to console her the other time. If she were his biological sister, he would have done the same. Not to say he actually thinks of Marcey as his biological sister.
"What is it?"
"Did you go out hunting last night?"
He shakes his head. He had cuddled Ana to sleep last night and had reluctantly left at dawn to avoid any awkward situation when she wakes.
