When Ethan stepped out, the receptionist glanced at him. She wanted to tell him Ana came looking for him but decided to mind her business. She was no fool and knew that the boss gives Ana special treatment. But knowing the she is the boss favourite didnt make her like the lady. Instead, it made her not like her.
She was a newbie that just popped out of nowhere and now the boss follows her around like a puppy. She wouldn't believe that Ana doesn't know the man sees her as a woman. That would be she playing dumb. But then it is what she has been doing. Playing dumb to his feelings and calling him 'nice' when she knows very well he is only nice to her. He had almost killed his own cousin just this morning for her, so there was no excuse she could give to hide that she doesn't know the man likes her.
