Akari was overcome with excitement at the chance to live his life out in Naruto. Although he currently did not know what era he had landed himself in, as long as he was not reincarnated into the warring era, he would have a decent chance of personally meeting Kakashi Hatake.
He glanced outside his window and was meet with the presence of darkness. Only silhouettes and outlines of his apparent clanmans abode were in sight. No visible signs could distinguish which time period he currently lived in. He silently gazed upwards and was amazed by the brightness of the night sky. The abundance of stars and their rays of lights that illuminated the darkness drew an exciting breath from Akari.
'I always thought it was cliché when main characters exclaimed at the night sky, but I understand. This sight is truly breathtaking'
He held his gaze towards the sky a little longer taking in his first night in a different world. A world not polluted in the slightest, as the air itself seemed to bring life to his every cell.
"Ahhh~" a quiet yawn escaped his mouth. Akari planned to quickly find his bearings in his new world but found it hard to form further thoughts as another yawn, louder than previous left his lips. Rubbing his eyes he determined tomorrow would be the best time to accurately plan for his future. The sudden burst of information and memories from his two lives tired his mind dramatically, and it was best he thought on a fresh mind with decent sleep.
Still excited, Akari laid back down on his futon, slowly drifting to sleep as his mind dimmed in activity, until a slow rhythmic breathing could be heard in his desolate room.
———————————
Birds chirping woke Akari from his peaceful sleep.
Immediately he checked the mirror. He smiled, relaxing as he realized last night was in fact not a dream, but the beginning of his journey.
The only window in his room, was vastly illuminated from the sun's bright orange rays bringing a soft glow and feeling into the world. For once Akari did not have to hastily wake to a screeching alarm and rush to get ready, only to fight the morning traffic to his horrible office job.
He sat content for a few minutes until he felt well adjusted.
'Alright Narutoverse prepare for the great Akari Hyūga' He exclaimed in his head, blushing. Thoughts rushing by in his head at the speed of light.
'Foolish foolish foolish!' Akari quickly admonished the whole Narutoverse in his head once he evaluated his situation. He always thought the way the shinobi fought and thought was simply to naive and dumb. There was only one essence in this entire universe that was the core of all techniques, jutsu, and life itself. CHAKRA!
The combination of both physical and spiritual energy that gave birth to the concept and usage of chakra as the shinobi world knew it. Of course Akari had a deep understanding of its importance, it was precisely because of this, that Akira's main focus would always be on chakra control.
'How can these numbnuts think they reached their potential when they can't even properly control their own chakra.' Akari scoffed.
For Akari, Tsunade was the best and ONLY example. What did Tsunade know beside "perfect" chakra control, medical prowess, and her Strength of a Hundred Yin Seal. Nothing! No ninjutsu or genjutsu! Her monstrous strength stemmed from her excellent control and dispersion of chakra, without that how could she possibly be a Sannin, then later Godaime Hokage.
Akari shook his head, sighing. Chakra control was not the only category that was underplayed in the series. He could name a few. Fūninjutsu, iryōninjutsu, and genjutsu, all of which he planned and promised to bring the full potential out of. Still these goals and dreams were all out of his reach. As now he had to focus on finding out more information about that state of the world around him.
His memories did not help with this at all either as the body seemingly ran on autopilot these last 3 years only doing the bare necessities to live, barely leaving his own residence.
'I can't really start my shinobi life if I don't have a reference to start from…Hmmm I should find the Hokage rock or a library' Akari tapped his chin in thought, moving his previous frustrations to the corner of his mind for rehashing later.
'The Hokage rock is more efficient than reading through a shit load of books…however….'
Akari stopped. He realized he would not be able accomplish all that he wished, simply due to his status in the clan and his very young age. Although Akari was aware children in the Shinobi world matured faster than those on Earth, he had not taken his physical appearance into consideration.
Akari grunted in dissatisfaction.
'It seems I can only rely on myself until I meet Kakashi' Almost as if influenced by his body, Akari stomped his foot unhappily in a means of protest. 'Not only do I have to rely on myself, there's the matter of Orochimaru and Danzo. Not that I planned exposing my potential until after graduation…there are always uncertainties.' He steeled his heart and affirmed to ultimately mask his presence during his time in the academy.
His plans seemed to be laying out nicely but one matter still weighed heavily on his heart.
The caged bird seal. The Hyūga's main family cursed seal, placed upon all branch family members in an attempt to control them and actively protect the Byakugan from its pursuers. Such a thing had already been placed on Akari, with no current nor future methods to remove it. Akari realized just how necessary fūninjutsu would be in his future plans. If he ever truly planned to steer the course of his own life.
He cursed in his heart for not being able to be reborn as Obito Uchiha or someone of closer status in the original Narutoverse with a close relationship with Kakashi. Granted he knew such relationships were all strained due to the silver-haired past but he have full belief in his abilities to make him overcome such trauma.
However, with the disadvantages came the advantages of possessing one of "The 3 Great Dōjutsu" as well as being born with a kekkai genkai. It would have been even more frustrating being a civilian orphan. He swiped the invisible beads of sweat from his forehead as such thoughts passed his mind.
It seemed he might be able to survive this world full of bloodshed after all. He nodded in satisfaction and steadily headed towards the door of his compound.
