“Who is Eli?” Three days had passed since Belladonna had asked that question that changed everything.
It was now certain that putting some much pressure on her memories of Eli had made her forget who he was. Their attempts to remain her and salvage whatever scrap was left in her mind had done nothing but worsen the situation.
She had fallen unconscious several times. It made Alaris agitated and soon enough they had all decided that they wouldn't try to make her remember him anymore. The Priest suggested that they could try again after her mind has gotten strong again. Ny'ka had been happy to chirp that by then their chances would be worse than the one they had right now.
“His soul is already beyond a path we can reach. By the time her mind is strong again, we won't even be able to get a channel to reach him. How about you give your memories to bring back this Eli? Or do you not consider the wishes of your lover important.”
