Immature?! SCOTT thought I was being immature?! I curled my hands into tightly balled fists, imagining them going into his handsome all-too-perfect nose. But I maintained… who was being immature now? I scoffed.
Gritting my teeth so hard I swore I heard them crack, I forced a broad, twisted smile on my lips.
“Soo… you think I’m being immature?” I asked in a surprisingly calm voice. “Very well… I guess, I’ll take my overly dramatic teenage self and leave you alone. Good night, Scott.”
A hand reached out and grabbed my arm, pulling me to a stop before I could take more than a few steps.
“Damn it, Molly! Knock this stupid crap off!” Scott snapped.
Molly pulled back. “Ohhh… so I’m being STUPID now!”
“That’s not what I said! Stop twisting my words! You are being chil—” Scott cut his words off as if he knew what would happen if he finished it.
