Ivo woke up disoriented. Light streamed into the room and blinded him. He sat up in bed and rubbed his sore eyes as the events of last night came back to him.
The club, the kiss, the storm. And now Davi still sleeping next to him on top of the bed covers.
The sun was shining for the first time in days. It seemed the storm had cleared up the sky. It would be a stretch to call it blue, but at least it wasn't grey.
Davi's face looked slack with sleep. Not peaceful, but relaxed. Ivo had the faint impression he had dreamt about him last night. Maybe they had been back in the club, where it was hot and sweaty. They were dancing, but no one was watching, so they did what they wanted.
Ivo was a little vague on the details, but the little he recalled made heat crawl up his neck. He got up from the bed without waking up Davi. He needed the rest. Ivo noticed with pleasure that while his bandages might not be the best, there was no blood staining them.
