When Davi told him the plan, Vice wasn't entirely convinced.
"And we're banking on none of these women lifting the bucket they're carrying around?"
Davi didn't think his argument carried that much weight. "How many times have you looked at the bottom of a bucket? Be real."
None, but that wasn't the point. "That's not the point. What if they notice that it's heavier than usual and decide to check?"
"They're not going to."
He was far too convinced of that for Vice's peace of mind. Personally, he saw a thousand ways this could go wrong. Starting with him going outside to get the scrambler from Alina or Thiago.
Their experience on the elevator had made it abundantly clear that all the staff was up in each other's business.
Then again, he supposed that if they got caught they would have much bigger concerns.
That second day was a bust. No one walked towards the locked doors, and any attempt to bring them up was immediately shot down.
