Dazedly, I let a maid brush through my hair as I look at myself through the vanity mirror. Long, thin features adorn my face as well as pale lips that are not quite sickly but not quite healthy either. Light bluish gray eyes that border on looking emotionless or even numb stare back at me alongside the silvery white hair that is reflected by the mirror.
Th-this is me, but how? I shouldn't be here right now... I made sure of it. Without realizing it, I start to tremble as realization dawns upon me.
