Emily POV
There is no need to answer for as I go to do so, a woman with a huge belly and a beautiful motherly dress rushes through the door, running out of air and somewhat disheveled invoking a whole scene of humor that I find funny, but the others do not.
"Did you invite Lana?" her question sounds irritated, especially given the situation she was arriving in but with a smile on her unmoved face, I manage to smile.
"She's like my sister, why wouldn't I invite her?" I reply to my mother and put Samu in Nathan's arms. I stretch my arms out to my best friend so she can see me and when she does, she walks relievedly over to me rolling my torso with her engorged arms because of the advanced stage of her gestation.
We squeeze each other as best we can with her giant belly in between and after we part she sees me happily, grinning from end to end.
