Nathan POV
She slyly details my bruise and doesn't say anything about it so as not to draw too much attention to that area of my skin.
"Not really honey. There are so many people here that I haven't had the time to chat a bit with her. Have you looked for her outside yet?"
"No" I am honest and she looks at me with obviousness.
"Well son, maybe you should start by looking for her better. Far away she can't be" She says certain and I take a breath of air, calming some of the silly anxiety I had developed.
I was undoubtedly making a storm in a glass of water involuntarily and only because I didn't see him around. I couldn't let people see me even a little perturbed and less so, when I was sure at some point I was going to see him again as if it was nothing.
It was just petty to upset me.
"It's the okay mother you're right, I'm sorry I interrupted you. Ladies."
