Emily POV
My nephew's brown eyes rest innocently on Michael and he sees him too. He starts making strange faces at him and in a natural reaction, Samuel bursts out laughing at the blond's cuteness.
"Is that you?"
"Nephew, it's my nephew" I look away from him and ignore him. He shifts uncomfortably in his seat and without asking takes a seat in my makeshift living room, on the swing next to me: "What are you doing here Michael? How did you find me?"
Proudly she glared at him.
"I heard about you and Nathan."
"Ya, that doesn't answer any of my questions" He swallows dryly and takes his gaze off me. He looks straight ahead and seems to mull over the most appropriate response.
"It wasn't hard to find you to tell you the truth" He confesses: "Nathan had in his house the investigator's file and this town is small so."
He shrugs as if he's talking to me about something ordinary and not the fact that at Nathan's house they had a whole investigative file on me.
