I don't respond and just open the attachment. The video starts to roll and my soul is pouring out of my feet. In it, you could see how Nathan and Blake were talking to each other very closely, looking annoyed and challenging the other with little gestures like shoves.
With every shove Nathan gave Blake, and Blake gave Nathan I felt my blood pressure drop but thank heavens nothing transcends beyond those shoves. Blake yells something into Nathan's face and Nathan recoils nods slowly and turns around ready to leave.
Before the video ends, Nathan sees the indiscreet camera and instinctively pauses the video at that moment, appreciating the brown man's face once again. As if suddenly he was in front of me, looking down at me with brown eyes from his privileged height.
Fuck, I just wanted to see him... but at the same time, I didn't.
Does that make any sense?
