Emily POV
Without so much as a squeak, I accept his offer and hang onto his forearm. He gives me back my bag and we walk together to the coffee shop where I end up drowning my sorrows in a large container full of coffee, milk, and vanilla that in the end worsens my situation, giving me a nice headache as a courtesy.
After about thirty minutes, a black Audi car pulls into the parking lot of the institute, and out of it emerges a Nathan looking quite annoyed but impeccable in the white shirt and tight jeans he was wearing today.
"What's up?"
As he reaches us the one with the brown curls gives a poor greeting to Blake, Blake is also unfazed and returns the gesture with the same intention. Nathan's hand goes to my chin and seeing the vestiges of my smeared makeup, he asks in a soft tone of voice what had happened.
"I take the test off like it's nothing, he didn't let me explain anything and he doesn't care that I was crying."
