"One day Ancel, I am going to give you just one damn day to tell me the truth about why the invoices are past those high figures, if not, I will take a plane tomorrow to Frankfurt and if necessary, I will look for a way to contact the suppliers and if I find out that the problem is yours and not theirs, it will be very bad for you Ancel. I warn you."
I hear him snort on the other end of the line and the conversation goes dead for a few moments.
"I'll figure out what the fuck to do, boss" he muses mockingly, but while I'm really after the solution, his irony is passing me by the fart-scarer.
"Don't make me take a plane, Ancel, that's the only thing I'm warning you about."
I exclaim in perfect German and for a triumphant exit hang up the call without waiting for an answer from him. Within five seconds, the cell phone on my desk vibrates and the screen lights up with a new message.
