Emily POV
"Before we tried anything with Nathan, we both talked to Ethan and told him what we intended to do. He didn't take it very well but within a few days, he came back to us saying he didn't care, that Nathan was his brother and if I made him happy he wasn't going to stand in the way but we all knew he was lying, we all knew he was hurt but we preferred to turn a blind eye and continue with our selfish affair completely ignoring poor Ethan's feelings." Her eyes start to glaze over and I fear the tears won't be long in coming. For that instant, the problem that awaited me with Nathan became minuscule. "After a while of being together Nathan started to get busier with his work, with his shelters, with his family and I started to feel lonely. I never told Nathan but instead, I ran to tell Ethan because I knew he was going to be there to re-inflate my ego, to fill my loneliness."
"...You and Ethan?"
