To my luck, Amelia passes them by and turns to me again, with a grim expression on her face that puzzles me.
"Don't you feel that your relationship has changed since the news of the will came out, Emi?"
Her question is strange.
"Why do you say that?"
"Since that reading, Harry all he's done is push me like crazy and I just feel overwhelmed" A heavy sigh comes from deep in his chest: "I know what I should do, I know I should support him it's just that I never imagined I would get to that point in my life in such a transactional way, it loses all meaning."
"I still don't understand Ame."
Her head shakes from side to side denying without giving me an answer, while her gaze remains lost in the glass on the table. I look at her a little closer and notice that her eyes have suddenly crystallized.
"Hey, girlfriend" Carla reaches out and takes Amelia's hand between hers with genuine concern which, to be honest, disoriented me: "I didn't know you felt that way."
