"Why the Lobby, why not the basement to get your car?"
"I wasn't as drunk as you but I'm not so irresponsible as to go take the car feeling toned. I'm not Michael." He responds, relieving a heavy weight from my shoulders. Without failing to live up to my expectations, Nathan had turned out to be a responsible man under that carefree façade: "As I was saying, we went to the lobby, hired someone to drive us home and it happened."
"Did anything happen on the way?"
"Well..."

"Come on stop it, stop doing that" I say for the eighth time as I watch Emily try to unhook her seat belt clasp from the seats in the back. Her drunkenness was going through the stage where not even her mother would peel it, but here I was tolerating her immaturities: "You can cause an accident Emily to stop it."
