Emily's POV
"Now what?" Nathan questions before letting me speak sounding as frustrated as I felt. Even though our kiss was no longer going to happen, his hand had descended to my sword and I was held very close to him so my hands rested on his torso. If we weren't in this position I would surely end up swaying back and forth like a palm tree on the beach.
"You've had it for the last two hours buddy, it's time for me to live with girls" The one in the shiny dress grabs my wrist and pulls me away from Nathan. Over her shoulder, she catches sight of Mike, who was dancing among the girls evidently out of his mind, and says: "Rescue your friend before they drug him more and empty all his bank accounts."
With that said, Carla finishes dragging me across the dance floor leaving Nathan standing alone, leading me to the group of girls where Lana, Caeli, Amelia, and now Carla and I were.
