Emily's POV
"Who did we come to see?" I hear Carla ask, very quietly due to the music here being more deafening.
Blake replies something but I don't catch his words. The DJ on duty finishes his appearance, gets off amidst a flood of applause, and a few seconds later someone else appears, a man with Asian features and black hair who takes the spot sporting giant headphones hanging from his neck.
Blake signals that whoever is now up there is his friend, rather proudly. The people around us get too excited and after a few moments of faint music, Blake's friend settles on stage and starts his set after a brief greeting.
