My friend very politely tries to shake her hand, but she just smiles at him. Amelia imitates him and greets us one by one in a more friendly way, being reciprocated by all.
I try to subtly look at Nathan, taking advantage of Amelia's attempt to start a conversation so that he can explain to me what the hell is going on, but Nathan seems as surprised as I am by our new companions.
