"huh were am I" i said as i stood. i had woken up from my nap in a pile of leaves in the forest. i immediately went into panic mode when I heard a faint noise, the ruffling of leaves. i was spooked by this and started walking away from the sound. "HEY LET ME GO WHO ARE YOU" I shouted at something that grabbed my arm from behind me. "shhhhh the monsters might hear you over here they thrive here" the young ladie said. the girl was average sized with long orange hair, jade green eyes and..... FOX EARS AND A TAIL. I was stunned by her looks she was beautiful but she wasn't human. "the names fern and if you want to live I suggest you keep quiet and follow me" "but how do I know your not going to kill me" I said staring at her fluffy looking ears and the girl named fern started pulling me with such ease. the girl was silent and it made me wonder about what the girl said... monsters what monsters i hadn't seen anything since she woke up. "uh fern was it, were am I going" I said still confused about what was happening. fern stopped in her tracks and let go of my wrist. "look my village is up ahead but we have to pass through the bad parts of the forest, you have two choices trust me and be silent or stay here and die." fern was being serious and I felt my face turned pale when i saw a creature. the creature was dark in color and it looked like a big moving blob of slime. fern looked at it and grabbed my arm, as she did the creature devored a plant and grew bigger. i didn't complain this time about and followed her as silent as I could. fern pulled me around the creature and pushed me into a portal. I landed In a beautiful forest and people with different animal features. "beautiful isn't it, by the way I never caught your name" fern said stating at me with a warming smile. her freckles made her look kind and warm. "my name is Katie" I said smiling back at her. " walk down that path and soon you will see a log cabin it belongs to the village leader just tell him fern found you and sent you there" fern said with confidence. I followed what fern said and walked down the long pathway and soon came acrossed the log cabin. I walked up to the cabin and the door was unlocked in that instant someone came up behind me and grabbed my shoulder.
A MAN: who are you and what are you doing here
KATIE: fern brought me here and told me to come to this cabin
A MAN: fern brought you? come inside then let's talk
KATIE: uhm ok I guess
we walked inside the cabin and the first thing I saw was a beautiful red sofa and a fish tank. the room had a big TV and a red carpet that matched the sofa. the man walked in and sat at a desk sitting in the corner. I walked over and took a seat in front of the man. he had short combed back black hair, a black suit and wolf ears and tail. his eyes were a cyan color.
A MAN: what is your name
KATIE: my name is Katie you?
A MAN: my name is Mark welcome to the village
KATIE: can you tell me where I am
MARK: you are in a sacred village that is hidden from the kings monsters by the way what animal are you
KATIE: uhm human
MARK: YOUR A HUMAN I THOUGHT THEY WENT EXTINCT
KATIE: uh yeah I am and I just randomly woke up here
MARK: well there is a possibility your ancestors escaped to another universe and when the time came someone, in this case you, was sent back to help us
FERN: BOSS THEY HAVE INVADED WE NEED TO GO NOW
MARK: DID ANYONE SURVIVE?
FERN: JUST ME, YOU KATIE, KYLIE AND JAKE
mark and fern looked panicked and mark grabbed my wrist as we heard buildings falling in the background. us three and two others I didn't quite know started running threw the forest in a hurry. mark led us to a cave so we could sleep there before continuing our journey. I was introduced to the other two people when we got there. the girl was named Kylie and she had pearl white hair, blue eyes. she was wearing shorts and a crop top with a sword attached to her belt. she looked to be a white tiger, she had black marks on her face and her ears and tail was striped all the way down. Kyle was a parrot his Hair was long and black which he tied into a ponytail and he had wings attached to his back with all sorts of colors. his eyes were dark green. mark gave them roles while me and mark defended the cave and talked some more. as I drifted off to sleep that night I heard mark say "you are going to save us I just know it....
