They all entered the base and the naughty Hunter welcomed them inside.
"Hey hey! HAHAHA! Wanna fight with me? What is your potential? Let's test your ability, come on!"
He said while jabbing in the air.
"A-ah sorry, I don't have any potential."
"Hey Hunter! Don't stay away from him."-Trijeus
"Ha? Then Master, let's fight! HAHAHA"-Hunter
Ruwan almost slapped his forehead because of disappointment.
"Do you really wanna die Hunter? Ask Vice M to fight with you, not Master, we learned that she's a witch!"
They all look at Yeind.
Gream gave her a questioning look.
"You're a witch, Vice M?! Let's fight! I wanna test the witch power that you have!"
He said again with excitement while punching the air.
"You already told them?"-Gream
"I still don't have a plan to tell them but someone sensed it."
They both look at Liam.
"Do you feel something strange about him?"-Gream
"Nothing but he said that he can feel our aura even though he doesn't have a mana. Was it really possible?"
She examined Liam from head to toe but still she doesn't feel any tain of aura inside him.
"If that's what is really happening to him, maybe it might be possible."
All boys tour Liam in the base while the girls are talking about the situation Liam has.
"The house will become lively even more because of another naughty boy."-Yeind
They sat in the living room.
"What really happened, Gream? How come you resurrected a dead person?"
Zaki places 3 mugs of coffee in front of them.
Gream took a sip before answering her.
"I became weak when I followed what Emperor Jabez told me to do in my mission. Liam saw my body in the tree and carried me to his house then his father said he saw Liam lose his consciousness while holding his chest. He tried to heal both of us but Liam's body refused his power and my body didn't have any improvement. But when he catched Liam's body, he's not breathing anymore."
"What was that? His chest felt pain then he suddenly died? Like heart attack?"
She confusedly asked.
"No, if I'm not mistaken it seems like a curse."
Zaki looked at them.
"A curse?"-Zaki
Yeind shook her head when she remembered the same sign of curse. But it's impossible to happen because the Absum village is so far from where the witches are located.
"What is it Yeind?"
Yeind chuckled while shaking her head.
"I just thinked of an impossible thing."
Gream continues her story.
"You all know that there's two kinds of people who can enter my dream land and I'm very sure that I didn't invite Liam there so automatically he's a willful soul. He keeps insisting that he's alive and we debate over it. I've been there for 3 days and it's really impossible for me to invite him over. The last time he said that he's alive, he held my wrist and that's the time I woke up. His dead body was beside me at that time."
"You woke up? As far as I remember it will take you a week or more to wake you up when you cast that magic."
"That's bothering me. His father told me what happened to Liam after he took me into their house. When I woke up my card's remaining collection of aces went missing so I searched for it and I found it in the dead body of Liam."
Yeind quiver because of a creep and amazement.
"All I can say is that Liam is Peculiar. His father asked me to do what I can do to resurrect Liam. I knew to myself that Liam's mission in this world is still undone even though I know to myself that the ace card can't resurrect someone. But because I know that the Ace card has a mission to someone who possesses it, I know Liam will be alive again and will follow the mission of that card. I told his father that I'll resurrect Liam but in exchange I'll get him from him. At first his father opposed my condition but later on he agreed to it as long as Liam will live. I told him to bury him on the fifth day of his death and now it is his fifth day."
Yeind crossed her arms
"How did you know that he'll be alive again on the fifth day? If we were delayed a little bit, Liam might not be here."
She doesn't really know how she came up with the fifth day but something inside her screams that he'll be awake again on the fifth day of his death.
"The important thing is he's alive and he's with us."
"But he doesn't have any magic."-Zaki
That's what Gream is thinking right now. Why did the important piece of the royal card enter Liam's body?
"So what? He's strong and maybe that's his power."
Yeind still not convinced but she's not opposed to the fact that Liam is part of them, she's just worried that something might happen to Liam now that he entered the palace of magic.
"Maybe his power is hidden."-Yeind
'That's possible'
Gream think
"Yeah, go on."-Gream
"We can consult Byron, he can see someone's mind if that person really doesn't have a power deep within him."
Gream's hope aroused inside her.
"What if he really doesn't have one?"
"C'mon Gream you already said that so what if he doesn't have one? I can sense that Liam can do something that will favor us in the future."
She nodded
"Teach him in the house work-"
"We don't need to."
Yeind smirked while looking at something.
Gream traced where she was looking, she saw Liam holding a bucket and mop while looking at them.
"Master, I don't know what I can contribute to this group especially to your job in this place but I'm hard working and I can do all the house chores and I can cook everyday."
"Cook! I want to eat what you'll cook!"
Zaki cheer on him
"Of course Ms. Zaki, I'll satisfy your cravings."
Gream became afraid because of Liam's kindness. That kindness might harm him in the future.
"Get ready, we will go to the palace tomorrow for your registration in this house. We'll consult the royal secretary with your condition. Be ready."
Liam confusedly looks at the back figure of Gream who is walking away from him.
'Consultation?'
