Aslan spent hours waiting for the clay he set to dry. It wasn't even until the rain stopped completely and the sun began to appear on the eastern horizon that Aslan finished building a simple oven for his wife. Maybe it still needed some repairs and couldn't be used right away because the clay had to dry completely.
Even his wet clothes were dry because he had used them all night. Aslan scratched his itchy nose and then changed into his other clothes, which Rosie was drying by the fire.
Aslan held his shoulder that felt sore and stiff. Today, he should have made a door to connect to the bathroom and the house, but he felt too tired. Besides, Aslan had not slept all night. Then, he went up to the attic and hugged his wife for warmth. The girl was still sleeping soundly.
Aslan was really relieved that he had to fight the cold all night, and finally he could hug Rosie's warm and soft body.
