The two of them fell silent again as they each focused on looking at the setting sun. Soon a day would pass, and they were still on their way with possibly a large army chasing the two of them.
"Hey, Aslan," Rosie called.
"Yes?"
"You told me about the Age of Emptiness, right? Do you actually know what happened at that time?" she asked.
Aslan shook his head. Age of Emptiness was still a mystery to humans, even to the revolutionary army, because just like with black magic, the existence of literature that recorded the history of that time was destroyed. No one knew for sure what had happened.
But, so far, the royal officials had always indoctrinated their people with one reason. That it was a dark time for humans and everything recorded about that time was destroyed so as not to remind the people that had managed to survive the atrocities of that century.
"What kind of darkness?" Rosie asked curiously.
