Howland arrived in front of Rosie's room. He saw Margaret, his cousin, standing while covering her mouth with her palm in the doorway. Howland still didn't say anything. He then stopped in front of Meg then turned to the girl and gave her a condescending look.
"Go away. This is not a drama you can pass on to your friends. If I hear a word of this come out of your mouth, I will not remain silent. It doesn't matter if you're my cousin or not."
Meg nodded quickly and sprinted out of Rosie's room.
Howland saw Rosie who was still wailing while hugging their aunt. He closed his eyes to hold back all his emotions. He then smiled dejectedly because he felt that no one would be able to calm Rosie or stop her cries other than Aslan now.
Aslan was probably on his way to sneak in here, and his uncle had added additional troops to avoid that possibility.
