"What's really going on? Howland looked very angry when I saw him last night. I wanted to stop him, but you know that he couldn't see me."
Aslan was also not sure of Howland's real reason for doing all of this. He did kidnap the Royal Princess of Angaria, but Howland wouldn't get this far. It was too much. Howland could have done it without using violence to the point of hurting many of the people Aslan had contact with. He also doubted that Howland knew what had happened between him and Yvonne, so what was the man's reason?
The only reason that made Howland to do all this must be because Aslan was a member of the revolutionary army.
Aslan couldn't answer Rosie's question. His lips were locked tightly as if silence was the best answer he could give. Seeing that Rosie just sighed and let go of Aslan's arm then sat down on the sofa, made him feel a bit guilty for not telling the truth.
