"Stop," said Rosie, who no longer wanted to kiss her husband.
Aslan kept trying to reach Rosie's face, which tried to avoid him. Then, still with her annoyance, Rosie grabbed the man's face and forced him to look at the two guards who were now standing with their backs to them.
"Look! We're not alone now!" she said, then released herself from the man's embrace.
"Why are you here?" asked Aslan as he helped tidy Rosie's dress, which was wrinkled at the bottom.
"Why am I here? You ask me? I should be the one asking you, what are you doing here?"
"Oh, your cousin wanted to talk to me," Aslan replied flatly.
Rosie opened her mouth in disbelief. Why did Aslan answer it like there was nothing wrong with that?
"Whatever. The important thing is that you're not alone with Meg anymore," Rosie replied while fanning her neck with her hand because she still felt hot after running around earlier.
