Fiancé? Rosie would be betrothed to a prince from the middle of nowhere whom she had never known or met. Rosie wanted to swear aloud. She didn't think she would ever be this annoyed before.
"I don't want to," she said firmly.
"Even so, you still have to prepare yourself because tomorrow Howland will arrive with Nicholas. So, even if you don't want it, your engagement will still be carried out."
"No means no! Do you understand the concept of the word no? I don't want to meet with the man named Nicholas tomorrow!" Rosie said furiously.
Aslan looked at the princess carefully. "Nicholas Bhaer is a royal prince. A handsome man and no bad scandals to come with. He is perfect and fit to be your partner."
Rosie deafened her ears, not wanting to hear Aslan's nonsense. She didn't care how perfect or noble Nicholas was. She didn't want to get engaged with the force of her family.
