Rosie closed Aslan's door and walked over to the man's desk. Aslan held out an envelope that he said was from Howland. She had been in Aslan's castle for a week, so it was natural for her brother to be worried about her. Rosie took the letter, then sat on the couch.
She glanced briefly at Aslan, who was already able to move his injured hand. The man tidied up the books on his desk.
"Does your hand hurt? Don't force yourself and rest first," Rosie said, reminding Aslan not to overdo his right hand because even though the doctor had allowed him to move, it didn't mean it could be used rashly.
"It doesn't hurt anymore," Aslan replied briefly, causing Rosie to frown in disapproval.
She then opened the white envelope by removing the dry wax on the envelope and tore off the edges. Rosie took out the letter Howland had written for her.
